Sora goes on a Star Wars rip-off journey to try and learn the “power of awakening”, which we still don’t really know the meaning of. It’s literally to “wake” people but no one knows what the eff that means. He’s also not a keyblade master yet, but Riku is cuz… reasons? He also meets Repunzel, Sully and Woody cuz Disney filler (I’m not making fun of those movies, they’re great, I love them, I mean “filler” as in they go nowhere and the actual plot of kh3 is really rushed).

Xehanort (bargain sale palpatine, I’m serious) comes up with a plan to put himself inside everyone.

That came out wrong, but he’s serious about it. He loves doing it so much, he even does to himself!

That also came out wrong, but I meant to say he travels back in time to unite with other versions of himself. Because KH time travel rules says you can literally do whatever you want.

They’re also trying to revive roxas because…. Plot. And xion, and literally every dead character that ever died because this is dragon ball I guess.

Vexen tries to betray the organization but see he’s not actually vexen because vexen is the “nobody”, who already died. The one in kh3 is the “somebody” and a somebody is revived when you’re heartless and nobody both die cuz they conjoin back. This is why roxas being revived is BS cuz he’s supposed to be back inside sora again cuz he’s sora’s nobody and nobody seems to remember that because KH bends its rules harder than smt, in fact smt lore would look at KH and be like “damn girlie, you lookin fire cuz you don’t make no sense!”

So sora, Donald and goofy go out together to different Disney worlds, they dance in frozen (yes, really) (I love how this is a “boss” then after all the Disney filler which skips like 90% of the plot, EVERYONE COMES BACK!!! NOBODY DIES CUZ WHY HAVE STAKES!!!!!

So anyways, Xehanort temporarily kills kairi (thank fuck) and sora defeats him with friendship…. See, friendship is a verbally mentioned power in KH. The literal final boss of all asspulls (eat your heart out, persona). Then Palpatine- err, I mean xehanort (sorry I have to mentally remind myself this isn’t Star Wars) gets talk-no-jutsu and his attempts at literal genocide gets forgiven and everything is hunky dory. Then kairi is (unfortunately) alive again just so she’d Star in her own game where shes just constantly saved by a fake sora cuz Nomura hates women… I guess.
