Which N64 emulator for PC do you recommend me?

In my experience, Project64 is a very serviceable emulator, but it's also horrible nagware that opens with a long, unskippable donation prompt that can only be disabled with a third party frontend or a donation-generated code that's specific to your current hardware.

Good question, I have been wondering the same thing. Project64 has been really annoying with the nagging, and apparently the N64 core used on RetroArch has a vulnerability where malicious ROMs could execute code on your PC. I'm not downloading malicious ROMs thanks to this wonderful website but still would like to know alternatives too.
