I'm personally waiting for SMT: Devil summoner for the PSP which currently has a translation in the works, but not all japan-exclusive games get the love and dedication needed to be translated by the community , and many of them will remain untranslated either by lack of interest or the difficulty of the translation itself, that being said, which games you would love to see translated someday? I'm intrigued to read your replies.

Memories off, Warriors Orochi Z, a few Yakuza games like Kenzan, a couple rpgs, particularly Shining and a bunch of other stuff.

It's my holy grail.

I know Japanese so I don't ask for myself but when people ask for game recommendation it sucks that I can't just recommend them Japanese games that has no English patch whatsoever. For example a significant part of PS1 game library is Japanese games that has no English patch and I have no idea if they ever have. And then some games have so sucks English official patch I would kindly for better fan translations lol.

- That being said for example Initial D parody game series that people drift with trains Densha De D does really need an English patch 4 sure. People missing a lot of humor here.

- My beloved street racing RPG series Zero4 Champ only have one game's fan patch but it's not even the game I would recommend in the series. The series has way better games.

- Kenka Banchou games on PS2 just too fun to ignore. Life sim elements and great humor + beat 'em up is a good mix for me.

- GachiTora! Abarenbou Kyoushi in High School is a game for its sense of humor worthy to play.

- And my beloved Koukidou Gensou: Gunparade March, I can't tell people it's more than a "game". NPCs literally living their own life beyond scripted events. The game is more than what I can tell, and then they praise for "Persona games are the first on such school simulator gameplay" because they don't know about how deep Koukidou Gensou: Gunparade March was... me cry hard!! lol

Sadly translating old games is hard. Not hard because Japanese -> English translation but hard because of how game uses a method to display these texts. Mostly as pictures to represent letters and using order and coordinate system to tell the game when and where a particular letter has to be displayed. It makes translation hard and sometimes make you find the way to adjust the game itself for English translation. If it was simple and not so time consuming I would translate my favorite games for sure, but then even creating English font can be problematic. This shit is beyond me!!! ::sadkirby *drama over 9000 moment* lol.

That's the Yangus Mystery Dungeon, right? I'd play that too.

Speaking of which, Shiren 2 N64 was really great, a step up over all earlier Mystery Dungeon games, so I'm really looking forward to the Dreamcast Asuka the Swordswoman spin-off that I know is being worked. Asuka was a side-character that can join you in Shiren 2, probably the coolest one.

There's at least a dozen I could name if not more, so I'll just repeat SegaGaga would be the one for me right now. I had a blast with Rent A Hero on the Dreamcast, all in all, and SegaGaGa is the last major untranslated Dreamcast game I can think of. Actually I can't think of too many untranslated first-party Sega games, it's got to be the holy grail, even if it was a quirky low-budget game and not a big production.

Kenka banchou get's my vote. Great series it's a shame only the 3rd game got an English release. I struggle a bit with the "insult system" so just for that reason I'd appreciate a patch.
(English clip from 3 for people who don't know what I'm talking about:)

UFO: A Day In The Life (Moon Remix is my fave game, just want more)
Giftpia & Endonesia (Both so I can see 2 ex love-de-lic developers attempt at a moon spiritual sequel)
Flower Sun Rain (PS2 version specifically, love to replay the game with hd audio and slightly better visuals)
Tokimeki Memorial (same reason as FSR but on PS1)

Without a second of hesitation, I dream of a non-AI fan translation of Tengai Makyou IV 🙏

Alive for the PS1, a FMV game that spans 4 discs. looks incredible and I'm sure it'd be nice to know what is actually going on.

I was gonna say El Dorado Gate, but it looks like it's finally being worked on. I'd like to see SMT Nine get a full translation as well and not just the neutral route for the game.
Came here to post that.
I was not aware it was being worked on!
Color me stoked!

I wished to translate the game valkyrie profile 2 and valkyrie profile covenant of plume and them all ps2 games since we won't see daylight of those in pt br and the first one since it's not fully translated because unknown master passed by some heavy irl issues with family I think. But would love to translate the ps2 games with that tool made by .CUE the triACEPS2games.c I have one friend whom asked to complete this tool for 3 thousand of reais which is way beyond my financial situation but would pay nonetheless in parts of course love the tri-Ace games for this. For the windows part only and not guaranteed that it would be fully functional. BTW I am on cachyOS and he would receive another 3k from me to port that tool from .CUE and be able to play in pt br and of course surely I could make an AI overhaul of the voices it would be heavy work to implement those VA's fidelity voices into ptbr but I am up to job since the main dev at intel that were from amd before now is making a way to be possible to use AMD Cores in the same level as CUDA cores into AI-Only nvidia dependant. And of course I would love to translate a bunch of other games, heck even them ones I hate but would love to see the surface of pt-br and or english even being a learner from english since my 8y'old from digimon world 3 passed 360 hours or even more in original hardware training agumon.

Medarot(Medabots) 5/6(DS)/8/9/Navi/Shingata.(i'm tired of Ikki, so i don't mind if we skip 4. 7 is just 6 with uninteresting character design so skip).
Digimon Story Xros Wars.
