One Vision, easily. I honestly can't go back to the original game after playing One Vision. It cuts down so much on the insane grinding and tedium that was present in the original game, not to mention all the rebalancing in every area of the game. I feel like it has a steady difficulty curve too, which for me was always on the verge of kicking my ass. x) It's been awhile since I played the original, but I played through it several times and I never remember having any real trouble. I do remember wanting to die while grinding skills though. It's bad enough to have to grind levels for every new character, it's even worse when you have to also worry about Strengthen and Spellcraft's levels too.

If you're going for 100% I'd say original is harder purely because there is less grinding in One Vision, at least as far as a standard playthrough goes. Maybe 100% is a different story though.

trying to get myself ruined, so ill go for original ig

i would say the original version of the game. even mods and hacks that make a game hard usually add in quality of life improvements.

One Vision is definitely better. Really. I played both several times and I also can't go back to the original after playing One Vision, and NO, One Vision does NOT make it easier in the late game because of "quality of life improvement". The type of improvement One Vision have is like your Ninja doesn't feel Useless with the Ninjutsu Ability because the most relevant ninjutsu doesn't require you to keep going to shops and buy the ingredients to do so, but they do cost more TP to be cast, because the original was too gimmicky when you had the ingredients which you could easily but from the shops because the game just makes you rich even when're your're not trying, and then you had cheap cast OP spells (and actually that by itself should be bad enough, but the truth is the ninjutsu summon spells in the original were TERRIBLE (like sometimes they did literally 1 damage per hit and 2 hits lol), so they really felt useless). Another thing is the grinding system. Original makes grinded characters gods and new ones completely useless. You could easily destroy the game with Arycelle's cheap 40 TP Tremendous Shot 1hko almost everything and then a finisher right after or you could grind for Shaman sisters and Deneb and literally destroy the final boss in one single spell, or everything that gets hit by its ridiculously large aoe range and size of the spells. Everything got balanced in One Vision. Archers were gods, now they're just very good rear supports that deals decent damage against squishy single targets, Wizards were outclassed by everything, now they are raw magic damage dealers that can cast the strongest attack spells in the game. I could say so much more but it would be too much, I hope you got the idea.
