I think mine would be the base of Dark Cloud with Dark Souls combat, Fallout 4 settlement building/management, The Witcher 3 open world zones, Diablo II inventory, and a story/worldbuilding written by Michael Kirkbride. What about yours?

Oh, maybe a simple one for now
Okay here we go…

Level designs: from any Super Mario 3D games

Exploration: Legend of Zelda and Metroidvania titles

OST: Castlevania's composer

Attention to detail stuff: Metal Gear Solid games

Some extra combination
Rosters: Tobal 2

Customisation: Almost every racing games

Combos chaining: like hack and slash so, Devil May Cry and God of War

Combat: Tekken

Collectibles: Shenmue games

STALKER with a coat of Shadowrun.
Essentially a first-person version of the Genesis game where I can explore a dilapidated metropolis, instead of being railroaded like all of the others.
Even better if it's set in Kowloon.

Easy. Following a bit of the theme that I'm seeing in this thread, I'd take any Zelda game (2D or 3D, doesn't matter, both would be incredible options) and combine it with an MMO. Ragnarok Online, Perfect World, or Black Desert would be amazing choices.

Are you kidding me? I'm impressed Nintendo hasn't taken the plunge yet. Perhaps given their troubling history with operating a proper netcode? No idea.

Hell, even thinking about playing something like this on a handheld like the Switch makes me feel frustrated, given the ABSURD potential here.

Also, it's slightly off-topic, but I gotta point out at how I'm impressed many modern metroidvanias don't implement magic or similar techniques based on careful inputs in their games, as seen on SOTN's spells. It's an easy win. SOTN basically combined fighting game inputs with Oldvania, and created an amazing mechanic. I'd love to see it implemented further.

Too many dream games I wish we could of had. But since Ninja Gaiden has been getting some love lately & is slightly related, I would love if people attempted more pure action games again. PlatinumGames is like, the only studio left keeping the genre alive, & we need more variety!

I would also kill to have more games with Nioh 2's combat complexity & customization.

I also also wish more game series attempted Monster Hunter clones. Toukiden & the God Eaters are actually great! But it kinda ends there...

That's so true, those monster hunter clones are also great too! They took the inspiration from monster hunter and added their own twist

And I agree, pure action games are just the bomb. This is only the start of the year though, I'm sure there'd be so much more action packed games in the future (or that's what I hope I guess)

A Ratchet and clank clone with TPS mode swap and Contra Style weapons, all set to a Sunset Overdrive offbeat story of self aware cookooness
That sound like a lot of fun

A Legend of Zelda MMO would go bonkers

I agree. More games like Nioh 2 and Monster Hunter would be great. Especially Nioh 2 seems to be very underrated

I think I'd love to combine SimCity with The Secret Of Monkey Island.

Being the Mayor of a Caribbean haven for pirates sounds wicked cool to me.
You like build a village on an island, the whole time the tutorial and NPCs are cracking goofball jokes at you

Animal Crossing
That's another formula that could easily be cloned but never really has.

Never played a 'bad' game in my life
Impossible! Bad games definitely do exist though. & I'm not talking about stuff like DMC2 (if you actually combined DMC2 with other games it would probably still be an improvement).
I'm talking about... mm, ok so maybe I don't have one in mind. Using NES games as examples would feel like a cop out. I'd even combine Sonic '06 with other games, although I wouldn't want to combine its' load times.
