Which console has the best looking cartridges?

Out of all the retro gaming consoles that use cartridges which one has the best looking ones of all?

I say it's the Famicom since its carts come in a wide array of bright and vibrant colors.

To me it would be Mega Drive for looking shapely and sleek and then the N64 for being really sturdy looking.

I personally like the design of the Wonderswan/Wonderswan color cartridges. They have a wide range of colors/designs for the label (in addition to being larger for better art!) and, for the time period they released in, they felt futuristic in terms of design. A bit delicate, but with a better aesthetic than gameboy/gameboy color or game gear cartridges I think.

While I have a deep nostalgia for the SNES design, I always liked the compact, sleek black look of the Genesis cartridge design.

I have a soft spot for the cute, small Gameboy/Gameboy Color design as well.

I think JP/Euro SNES carts looked a lot better than the U.S ones.

Oh absolutely, the design is so delightfully sleek. My SNES bias is mainly due to it being my main console growing up. In hindsight however, we were shortchanged on the cartridge design.

I like the American SNES carts, personally.
The original Game Boy cartridges felt like a nice shape, size, and design, and there's something cute, retro, but also about them.
The Neo Geo Gold cartridges were really satisfying to plug in.

I only had a SNES when it was already at its zenith, so I didn't develop an emotional connection with it as I had with the MD, but I can definitely understand.

Yep, well built too. DS carts look super flimsy in comparison.

GBA carts are Sleek and Cool! Famicom Carts were the first games I've played so i kinda got nostalgia for those too.

That's the one. Played KI a whole lot. I always thought the DKC trilogy deserved yellow or green carts, if you ask me.

N64 cartridges are peak cartridge design for me simply because I haven't seen anything like the Majora's Mask golden cartridge with holographic cover
