cotton 100%, blazing star, and embodiment of scarlet devil

idk i like too many to choose x.x

Parodius is an all time favorite, remember the first time I played it I ate a bunch of airheads and got sick.

Eosd and Ikuruga are definitely close to it tho.

Axelay (SNES), Isolated Warrior (NES), DoDonPachi (arcade & PS1)

Blazing Lasers, Tatsujin/Truxton, ummm... i'm not sure for number 3... any random (non-bullethell) shooter will do

Thunder Force III (Genesis), Gradius (NES), Border Down (DC)

GG Aleste 2, on the Game Gear. 1 and 3 are also worth looking at but 2 is my favourite.
DoDonPachi Resurrection and Battle Garegga. Music is pretty darn good for those two.
