I wanted to learn about this model so I could play more Japanese 3DS games without jailbreaking them, which is something I want to learn.Sorry for bothering you, I was looking for an image and I found this image of the model I wanted.

I actually own these 2 at launch when they came out in black friday years ago, still use them to this day.

If I could have any design, right now I'd probably swing for one of the monster hunter designs because it's apparently that time of the year again where I'm OBSESSED with monster hunter and am consistently disappointed when my friends refuse to install the online mods for monster hunter 1 or tri.

LOL, I just saw you in the 3DS death thread, what a shame to embark on this endeavour when that kind of information is coming about.

However, I don't really understand not wanting to jailbreak your 3DS in the first place? It's cheaper, easier, and would allow for you utilize translation patched versions of games so you can play them in English (though, you might have working understanding of Japanese, I dunno).

If you happen to have a WiiU, I would also recommend getting a "New 3DS XL" since there's a homebrew app that would allow you to stream your games directly to your TV (similar to the way DSware works).

Oh, sorry, I didn't think about it that way. I wanted to focus on collecting, but since games are more expensive...Sorry about anything. Now that I remember, games are expensive.

We all understand the struggle, otherwise, I don't think any of us would be on here (or CDR for that matter).

I'm pretty sure everyone here has mentioned Citra/Lime or some other 3DS emulator, but misses to point about collection and ownership in the first place. Especially considering, one of the reasons I modded my own 3DS (it's a 2DS, since I'm a broke bitch :C ) was because of the hectic nature of seamlessly switching between touch and button controls (which is required for a number of DS/3DS games like Jump Ultimate Stars, Wario:Master of DIsguise, or Dragon Ball:Origins) which is not easy to do on a Mouse/Keyboard set up.

If your in it to go just hog-wild and don't care about anything but drip, than the New 3DS/XL models are your recommend, since they have these utterly sexy plates you can swap out and mix and match.
