if you have a good enough PC then you MUST PLAY Resident Evil Revelations. I think it's mostly a RAM thing, because everything I've emulated it on in the past ran it like doodoo, until my current mini PC, which has 32 gigs of RAM. So I believe it's a matter of just needing to powerhouse the hell out of that one. Also make sure V-sync is turned off and you're using vulkan. the 3DS version is my favorite version of the game, but if your rig can't get it to run right, there's otrheroptions, including a PC version (massive file size for what it is tho)
Anyway: There's some great RPGs, like the Shin megami tensei series, which are mostly very emulatable. I mainly had issues with the games that are updates of the DS entries for some reason. but IV, apocalypse, soul hackers and the Persona Qs all ran well as far as I played them.
There's some great racing games like Mario Kart 7, Need for Speed the Run and Ridge Racer.
Platformers galore, like New Super Mario Bros 2, Mario 3d Land, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Shantae, Rayman, Shovel Knight, Kirby, the list goes on. as per usual with nintendo it's a great lil machine for platformers.
The Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds, as well as ports of the N64 Zeldas (I haven't tried the ports, as I'm not a huge fan, so I can't vouch that they run well)
There's also Metroid Samus returns, which I think is just kinda OK. some people like it. If you've played Metroid Dread, it's closer to that than the classic entries. More of an action game. (and AM2R is a better Metroid 2 remake anyway)
Surprisingly there's a good selection of fighting games that actually run decently. Tekken, Dead or Alive and Super Street Fighter 4 all ran well enough.
These are just the mainstream picks. there are hidden gems as well (I just havent gotten to them myself yet)
you should check out Vimm's Lair. they have the sauce
