Where do you emulate games most of the time?

(what the title says)

On my PC, which is hooked up to my TV in my living room. So I can play retro games from my couch ::dkapproves
Honestly better. I don’t like desktop. Always a couch person.

laptop but i am more used to playing on a touchscreen somehow. I get using a controller for emulations on a laptop but having claw controllers for my phone seemed too overkill for me imo.

I mainly emulate older stuff on my psvita its basically like playing mobile but you have buttons::megadancebaby. Makes the experience 10 times better and all games look amzing on the oled screen. ::smirk1

I emulate on PC because it's more powerful than my phone. Because my PC runs up to 3DS with the help of the settings and even emulates GameCube, PS2 and Wii because on my phone it only runs up to PSP with the help of the settings as well.

99.9% of my emulation is done on my laptop via Retroarch (sometimes I use separate emulators like PPSSPP or PCSX2), I used to emulate a lot on my Xbox One back when getting custom software on retail was still a thing.

My beloved RA config, I still tinker with it from time to time and I have everything customized down to the smallest details, my pride and joy.

I emulate everything almost entirely on my Vita and sometimes also my PS3 if I want to play on the big screen.
I guess the PC would be more efficient and easier to set up, but I prefer playing things on my handheld while laying in bed.

My PC is an emulation machine that brings the entire past 30 years of gaming to my fingertips at any time.

But I'll be damned if I don't say I REALLY want an emulation handheld I can play comfy in bed. Especially in those cold winter nights we're having lately. My phone or Switch just doesn't cut it when all the games I ACTUALLY want to emulate are only on my PC.

Most of the time on my PC,
Tho I also have a CFW 3DS that I use for handheld/portable emulation
Currently emulating SMT 1 on the Snes9x 3DS port
A 3ds is the best way to emulate the SNES, bar none. I'll die on this hill.

I personally like to emulate PS2 and PSX on my deck, but I also have a 3ds for SNES and, well, 3ds games.

Good question. It's a tie between my PC or my retro handheld.
  • I'm often on my PC playing on one screen and watching/listening something else on the other screen
  • Otherwise I tend to take out my Odin handheld and play on the couch, on the go and now since its nicer (and when its not a bajillion degrees out) take out a camping chair and play on the balcony.
