So, I have been trying over and over to get back to the topic (really, I did have something to say in response to actual constructive comments here), but the troll keeps on violating the rules and filling this thread with garbage posts. I've warned him and he hasn't stopped. I doubt that's going to happen until administration comes down on him.You *REALLY* don't want to play that card.
I'm frankly disgusted by the tone of the last couple of interactions on this thread and I'll ask of everyone who's active on it to refrain from continuing down this route.
Well compared to Gen Z I have no opinion. The failure of Gen Z which is mostly My generations and the generation before me´s fault. Just made me lose all hope in humanity.
A whole damn generation dumber than a train and the train runs on rails while they run next to it. a Generation that think their personal feelings is the most important thing in the world and generation that have almost no common sense and grew up with tiktok and other trash social media. They having kids Jesus Christ that´s end of humanity as week speak.
As I said the movie Idiocracy is becoming a reality. I bloody hope im dead before Gen Z and alpha takes over. Or I just end my self with a rope.
But who cares anyway if Putin throws a real tantrum we all be dead anyway so meh.
Im gonna say this I say to every human I ever talk to respect is earned not given.miguk I don't think adressing mass group of people in such a dissmissive manner such as "gen x, y, z" is very respectful, or respectful at all.
It is dehumanising to disregard someone's individual will, let alone blame strangers at masses for the societal downfall in video game forum.
I don't what website did you came from or what your deal is but what you typed is uncalled for to say the least.
And if you expect me or anyone else write paragraphs of material compiled by an algorithm then you will have to pardon my impertinence because I am not accustomed in the use of such means.
I was almost certain that this point of contention was at a halt.@SwordBreaker39 If calling groups of people belgoning to diffrent generations X,YZ and upset you that mush I recommend to turn of you PC and call your ISP and tell them you no longer need internet.
But I guess I was wrong. You *REALLY* don't want to play that card.

Okay, I need to address this, as it's an utterly maddening meme for anyone educated enough to understand how scientifically inaccurate that film is.As I said the movie Idiocracy is becoming a reality.
Watch Religulous; it's funny, it's intelligent, it's Bill Maher, and I promise it's nothing like Idiocracy while chock-full of information you might find valuable.Okay, I need to address this, as it's an utterly maddening meme for anyone educated enough to understand how scientifically inaccurate that film is.
No, Mike Judge is not an oracle of the future. For all the good writing he's done, his career has gone up and down because he's not able to understand people widely, but just certain segments of the population. He's previously failed to successfully represent 50%+ of the population; why would he get 100% right?
Anyways, back to science. Evolution doesn't work that way. Science has been over this before several times before Judge interjected his own lack of education into the conversation. We've debunked Lamarckism, Lysenkoism, Nazism, and other poor attempts to explain evolution. In the end, Darwinian evolution has been the only one that was proven correct.
DE is simple: that which can survive, does, and reproduces because of that; that which can't survive, doesn't. The genes from that reproduction replace the ones of the non-survivors. If we were too stupid to survive, we just wouldn't. Stupid people wouldn't be having babies if they were getting themselves killed before they can have kids. And simple statistical math and common sense says that they would never be the only ones reproducing, nor would they be reproducing with all of the intelligent people.
I should also note that the "inferior people are reproducing" argument is not even originally Judge's. It was already pushed by the eugenicists, who argued for horrible crimes against humanity because they themselves were too scientifically illiterate to get that they were wrong. And we've had other lunatics take it to a whole other level around WWII. After that, people who wrongfully believe that Thomas Malthus' overpopulation hypothesis isn't outdated (note that not only have modern sociologists proven him wrong, but they have proven the opposite) have picked it up as a rally call to stop certain people from having children. And with populations nosediving in the developed world and replacement rates only staying high in underdeveloped countries, those arguments are looking more and more suspicious.
Ultimately, our problems are not a result of whose being allowed to have babies, as practically none of us can afford that any more. The "dumbing down" of society is systematic, and the people who say "Idiocracy is a documentary" are ignoring those problems without good reason.
I will be honest with you bro, I don't think you know any such person.Okay, I need to address this, as it's an utterly maddening meme for anyone educated enough to understand

Bill Maher is a complicated individual, to say the least. For every point he makes well, he makes 4 more than are just the dumb ranting of a narcissist. He's overly proud of himself for someone who claims to think scientifically yet lacks academic self-doubt. I get that he's a comedian, but his constant "you are all dumb and I'm clearly right" mugging isn't funny; it's bad catchphrase level humor. He can't use comedy as an excuse if it's not even technically funny.Watch Religulous; it's funny, it's intelligent, it's Bill Maher, and I promise it's nothing like Idiocracy while chock-full of information you might find valuable.
Hey, valid. I'm not gonna argue against that, not because it's your personal take but rather because I don't find anything wrong about it.Bill Maher is a complicated individual, to say the least. I've seen Religulous. It was mildly interesting, but didn't provide enough evidence to support his point. His "religion bad" view is understandable, as there are plenty of obvious examples of religion gone bad, but fails to consider the numerous historical examples of religion being valuable as well as times when the "rational" were on the wrong side. (Note that John Brown was a religious man [of the original Evangelical movement back when they were not right-wing] while the slave owners were following the views of capitalist thinkers.) Likewise, he makes the same common mistake that many internet atheists do, which is to ignore all socio-political and economic issues that could effect the way religious people think and only focus on how the religion effected them, which is strangely not very rational of them.
Don't get me wrong, Maher sometimes has a good joke. He sometimes makes a good point. But he's just as irrational as some of the people he criticizes. That should be clear from the fact that he dated Ann Coulter.
Well, you guys have something in common at least. But he's just as irrational as some of the people he criticizes.
The thing is, it's not that society is controlled by stupid people. It's controlled by ① the elderly, who are behind the times, outvoting both the mid-aged, who get it, and the young, who have been tricked into not getting it; ② corporate supremacy in all socio-political aspects of life; ③ outdated ideologies being the only dominant ones in politics, economics, and media; and ④ lack of any third spaces (physical or digital) that are not corporate controlled so that alternative views are not censored (while disruptive views are marginalized instead of coddled). We could add additional points per country for their specific cases. Big problems have big causes, not simple ones. And we should try not to be tricked into focusing on a scapegoat for those problems, as that's exactly what those causing the problems would prefer we do.So my point about the movie is the name it self idiocracy "a society or group that is controlled by or consists of people of low intelligence"
How modest. And we should try not to be tricked into focusing on a scapegoat for those problems, as that's exactly what those causing the problems would prefer we do.
thank you monsoon metal gear risingTo me those are only names. What matters in a person are the manners, beliefs, the memes.
