You're so real for this pick. bulk slash is awesome, one of my favorite mecha games ever
Now i have to ask have you played love and destroy?

I've always been a sucker for classic Arcade games (thankfully there were a wealth of ports of them growing up on various consoles that I either emulated or had IRL). Some of my favorites would have to be Wizard Of Wor, Tempest, NARC (purely for how outlandish it can be), Centipede, Battlezone, and of course Pac-Man (though I fully consider Ms. Pac-Man superior)

I have not too long ago! I adore the presentation from the mecha, character and enemy designs. Masakazu Katsura and Production I.G nailed it.

Hard to name just one, so here's a few:

Modern Ninja Gaiden Trilogy
Devil May Cry series, namely 3 and 5 the most
Doom/Doom 2/Final Doom
Megaman X series, mainly 1-4
Street Fighter series, with ST, Alpha2/3 and 3S at the top.
Fire Emblem Series
Quake 1 and 2
Build Engine Trilogy (Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, and Shadow Warrior)
Dark Souls/Bloodborne/Sekiro/Elden Ring
Nioh 1 and 2
Metroid Series, with Super at top.

This is just off the top of my head for now.
what is that poster miku?

Super Metroid. I played it the first time as a kid and I loved the feeling of being lost in a strange, alien and kind of scary world where you had no idea what was going to be in the next room. Sadly the game doesn't feel strange and scary to me any more but I still love doing a run through the game. There's also lots of great romhacks and a few different randomizers. The map rando one is really fun. But I still play vanilla runs of the game because the original, unmodified version of the game is still one of the greatest games ever made.

Hollow Knight because it's the first game I've played since Super Metroid that made me feel like a kid again playing through Super Metroid for the first time. It was everything I liked about Super Metroid just a whole lot more of it and some new stuff I enjoyed just as much. It felt like the sequel to Super Metroid I always wanted but never got because the actual Metroid series mostly went in a different direction and exploration and becoming lost sort of fell by the wayside in favour of story driven narratives and pseudo horror game scripted events. Whereas in Hollow Knight, the entire game is being lost and exploring.

Megaman X. It's my favourite game in the Megaman franchise. I don't even know how many times I've played through the whole game. I played through it a little while ago to try out the fastrom or sa-1 or whatever hack it is that removes the lag from the game. I ended up playing through it all in one sitting and 100%ed everything including getting the hadoken without even thinking too much about it and it was the first time I'd played the game in at least 5 years or longer. That's how much I've played that game and it still never gets old. I could probably pick it up right now and do a playthrough of it and enjoy it the whole time.

Final Fantasy V. It's the only jrpg apart from the first Final Fantasy I've played through over and over again and never gotten bored of part way through. I tend to prefer the gameplay more than the stories in jrpgs and FFV has one of the most fun job systems out of all of them. The story itself is also pretty decent. I don't know why it gets such a hate on. It gets pretty dark at times and I always thought the concept of two separate worlds being forced to merge was always kind of neat. I find it to be just serious enough to get its point across but doesn't try too hard like I find the later games in the series do.
hmm i think you like surprises. I read the whole reply i don't really know what to say. btw do you mind me asking your age. i am 20 years old & i am a boy.

An action game (with some platforming elements) with a story that is based on the book of enoch. Its one of the most visually striking games ive ever played, and evey December i boot this game up and play it.
