I found that this changed a lot over the course of my life.

As a kid, I would have cereal and call it a day.

As a teen, I'd have bread and butter with a glass of juice.

And as an adult, I'm all about my biscuits and coffee.

What about you?

In Kuwait breakfast culture is somewhat intricate with a lot of us indulging in breakfast mainly during breaks or day offs since there’s no time if you’re going to school or work but when you do have time, breakfast sizes ranges based on how big the family is. But whenever I myself have time for breakfast, here’s options I go with that I try to alternate between:
- biscuits and milktea, easy and quick to the point
- bread and milktea, the bread we have is “khubz”, it’s a flatbread much like a tortilla but it’s fluffier and thicker. I put cheese in it or tear it and use it to scoop a cream we eat here called “geymar”.
- I love scrambled eggs and omelettes. Nothing beats them for me. I eat with khubz and milktea. The eggs would often include cheese or Turkey.
- if I’m in a hurry, I am really just ok with just milktea. I’m generally not super picky.

an egg sandwich with cheese, ham and bacon. Orange juice and coffee

Cereal (chocokrispis) and milk or Boiled eggs. And in some other days a sandwich

In Italy for breakfast we eat only sweet (not savory) things by tradition. Milk with coffee, where we dip biscuits, toast with jam and butter or corn flakes. ?

D you mean these? If so good choice. Over here they’re yellow and not brown though.

We have these too. They’re my preferred.

I really enjoy a fried egg with some kind of meat (optional), and toast to mop up the egg juice.

When I took a class in Italian my teacher told this a lot. She stayed in Italy for years I believe.
Dipping biscuits is the best.

Don't they call them biscotti? I've been to a few Italian style cafés with those types of biscuits. Sometimes covered in chocolate or with pistachios.

I'm one of those "sweet, not savoury" breakfast guys, so I'll typically go for a pastry like a muffin or cinnamon bun, or some yoghurt or cereal (most recently, Honey Nut Cheerios) over eggs or bacon or any of that hullabaloo.

All throughout my life as a writer, the one thing I've been told again and again is that having breakfast is critical to continuous productivity throughout the day. I have no idea if that's true or not, but I'm too scared to stop eating it regularly, now.

This one is Chocokrispis in chile. The elephant name is Melvin (we found a regional/country difference ?) View attachment 3218
I’ll be honest. I vibe a lot more with the elephant. He seems like such a happy dude!

I prefer a hearty breakfast over a sweet one - I guess a ham and cheese grain bread sandwich with tomatoes or cucumber and some coffee tends to be my go-to these days, but since I'm never actually hungry in the morning and only really eat breakfast out of habit and for nutritional purposes, I can't actually think of an ideal breakfast tbh.
Now lunch though? Hoo boy.

Rye bread with herring
I wouldn't mind it if eating fish for breakfast became more of a thing here in North America. I like a nice bit of light, fresh-tasting salmon on some toast in the morning.
