What’s your “Games in a Shoebox” Console?

I’ve only ever seen one person who has shown them keeping a box from their childhood until today. It was AbsolBlogsPokémon, who still has his childhood Pokémon Ruby box, with a translation of the Regirock codes inside it.

I’ve not seen somebody with any in person. I’ve seen them in stores, of course, but I’ve never seen an actual owner in the wild. Even growing up with the DS, I knew NOBODY who ever kept the cases for their games except for me.
See, I knew more people who kept DS cases, but something a lot of people used to do was take the cartridges out of the cases and keep them all nearby (Like in a drawer or on a beside table or something) but still store the cases away somewhere (???). No idea what the logic was there but a lot of people I knew did stuff like that lol.

All the people I knew refused to not use small plastic case for their game carts.

I have a current friend whom keeps her Pokémon DS games in a 3D printed Pokéball. I think it’s super cool, frankly.

A local used game store has a demo setup for a few systems, featuring these drawers for N64 games that came out in the United States.

Is this similar to what you had?

kinda.
was more a plastic cart with a zipper fabric outer part.

Small addenium: I believe that practice is commonplace in Japan, since most fanart of the console had it in the background, could be Mortadela effect there tho

Not a shoebox, but I used to keep all my GBA games in a tin can. Now I kinda regret throwing away the boxes, though
