What's your favourite handheld demake of a home console game?

I liked doing Donkey Kong on the Gameboy Color and I've just remembered that DKC Returns got a 3DS port a decade ago. I find it interesting to see a last gen home console game in your pocket.

Do you have your examples?

Not sure if some of these count, but I’ve a few picks in mind:
  • I thoroughly enjoyed banjo, crash and spyro on the gba.
  • This one apparently does count cuz I heard Pac-Man World on the gba is a direct demake of the ps2 classic, at least it came out around PMW2, great game by the by.
  • Contra and Castlevania on the original GB certainly feel like demakes and I quite love ‘em.
  • I heard some people didn’t like Aladdin on the Gameboy, I found it cool.
  • This one is odd, I was confident Spider-Man on the Gameboy was a demake but apparently it’s not! Certainly has the vibes.

Just played a bit of the Disco Elysium de-make and that's pretty damn good.

Daikatana on Gameboy color.
Its cool how they made this game .

Less graphics, less characters, less background details... but incredible gameplay with only TWO ACTION BUTTONS!!

I really liked the Yoshi's Wooly World port for the 3DS. In many ways it was better than its original release.

I played Super Smash Bros 3DS more than the Wii U version. It's honestly amazing how much they were able to cram into that game. Technical wizardry.

Oh yeah almost forgot!
Banger music and this also isn’t anywhere near as janky as it looks.

That little thing they gave you for guitarhero later became a fidget toy for me

Dr. Mario on Gameboy
Snow Bros.
Tetris on Gameboy
Yoshi on Gameboy
Yoshi's Cookie on Gameboy
Super Mario Advance games
Paperboy on Gameboy

Pac man world 2 on GBA

Crawfish did decent handheld ports of SFA(2 I think) on the GBC and SF II/SFA3 on the GBA.
