What's your favorite fighting game and fighting game character?

Smash Bros and Soul Calibur are my classics, with Falco and Kilik as the characters from them I'm loyal to and always play. More recently been into an indie 2D fighting game called Merfight, where I was the first person to win a tournament with my main Arctina.

Bloody Roar 2, Alpha 3 or Kof 98
Favorite Characters:
My man the crazy doctor...Faust

I have way too many to narrow it down, but I have a soft spot for The Last Blade 2

Wow a last blade 2 fan. Who's your favorite character? I like Setsuna because he's edgy but really cool.
I play Hibiki and Kojiroh mostly, with a bit of Moriya on the side. I always gravitate towards Iaido users when a game has one.

BlazBlue, and Arakune. Quoth the Dustloop wiki...
Arakune is a very unique character with attacks, movement, and a playstyle unlike any other. Arakune's playstyle revolves around using his Drive Attacks to put his opponent in a "Cursed" state. Each of his Drive attacks build a special gauge, Crimson (commonly called Curse), on his opponent. Once the gauge is filled and his opponent is "Cursed" Arakune is free to run safe, unreactable mixups and deal big damage for a short time. This mixup includes high-lows, crossups, guard breaks, and whatever else you can think of. Keep in mind that before his opponent is cursed, Arakune is a weak character with lackluster neutral, pressure, and mediocre and predictable defensive options. As a result, Arakune needs to play an evasive neutral game in order to get the opponent to commit to actions.

My favorite fighting game is DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3
But my favorite fighting game character is Juri Han

I used to be a Street Fighter person, right until the first Guilty Gear came out. Since then? It's always been May for me. And I'm not even into cute pirate girls. It's just... I don't know. Sometimes you're like, "This! I like this!" And that's it. I still do like Street Fighter games, but Guilty Gear's May is my one true love :->

Best Fighting game of ALL TIME: Mondu's Fighting Palace/ Slaughter Sport for the Genesis. The smooth controls, the combos, the characters and the excitement. This game has it all

I respect your opinion but this already seems like pure sarcasm than anything else.

Probably a casual answer to some, but Mortal Kombat X is probably my favourite. Other games have larger rosters, and better storylines, but I love MKX for the unique way that each character controls, the various unlockables and game modes, the fatalities and the arenas. It's also the one (and likely only) fighting game I've ever gotten all trophies/achievements for, which I was pretty proud of.

Favourite fighter is the blind swordsman, Kenshi

MK9 Kenshi was out of this world lol

I can't really have an opinion since I suck at fighting games and therefore didn't develop much of an interest in them, but I like Dead or Alive 5 simply because it's accessible for casual players and the graphics were amazing for its time.

Favorite character is definitely Morrigan, she's just too beautiful and stylish.
