Whats the worst Japan exclusive game you've played?

I see people talk about great Japanese games we never got in the west. but how about the games the Japanese deemed too terrible to subject us Westerners too?

I'll go first with one that I played pretty recently Transformers Tatakai for PS2. On paper this game sounded like an easy home run gen1 transformers in a 3D beat 'em up is a great idea but Transformers Tatakai is a clunky mess with awful controls gameplay and performance it might be one of the worst action games I've played on the console.

How about you fellas what's the worst Japan exclusive game you've played?

A lot of those "Simple Series" games are pure garbage, sort of games you would see on those MyArcade kids consoles.

Yeah for every earth defense force there's like 50 borderline unplayable pieces of crap. 505 games actually published a lot of the less shitty simple 2000 games in Europe but I don't think we got any of them here in America.

Yeah, the real worst are probably some of THE Simple series (PS2) or pachinko games. Ar least with other games, even if their execution are horrendously kusoge they're still made with some kind of effort included, but the games I mentioned were literally just made for bait.

Ganso Saiyūki: Super Monkey Daibōken - This Famicom game is so bad a season of Game Center CX was devoted to trying to beat it.

My brother played this recently said the same thing "so bad it's good" it's something that isn't commonly attributed to games but when it is it's always something special

Conceptually this could be a really cool game but you're right seems like they fucked it up.

Parodius, not because it’s bad but because it’s the only only other Japanese exclusive I’ve played aside from ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat (that I remember, anyways).
