What's the story behind your username?

It's a song by an Industrial band named Velvet Acid Christ, one of their more notable tracks and a damn good song at that.

I felt it was very fitting descriptor of who I am currently; I can be very bitter and pessimistic at times (Caustic), but at the end of the day I'm determined to have a great time and nothing will stop me from doing so (Disco)

It's a dumb joke on a now semi-forgotten horror rpg franchise and its protagonist. I never got to use it back in the day because I thought of it just as I was leaving gaming forums (for good I thought) as they were becoming more toxic right-wingish.
Coincidentally I've come out as trans in the meantime.

This might be a weird one.
I was never really the most creative, and i was especially bad at naming things. So when I was a really small kid i used to play this obscure but really generic browser mmo.....of uh um Fairy Tail. And i was at like 1st grade back then so i didnt even know much of what i was doing on there, it gave me a randomized English username; "Phil Holm" and i just thought its the character's name and didn't even change it.

Sometimes I played that game like 8 hours a day on my brother's laptop when my parents weren't home to yell at me. I even got my character to rank A and was this close to getting rank S. Unfortunately, the server i was playing on got shutdown and i lost everything. Some time later, that game also shutdown (more like replaced by another game, i never liked the newer one as much) And well since then I've been using that same username on everything everywhere, as an homage i suppose, also partly because i couldn't come up with anything better (I had tried countless times).

Then one day after many years i finally modified it a bit, to make it sound more like an actual username/gamertag rather than some european dude's government name,

Behold, PhilthyWeeb

Yes, a pun. The epitome of my creative struggles.

Side note: As for why a 1st grader liked such a fan service heavy bait anime as Fairy Tail, I SWEAR ITS NOT WHAT YOU THINK!
Ahem, rest assured i hadn't reached puberty yet. We used to have Animax on TV back then and Fairy Tail had a more modern artstyle to it compared to the other old school 90s and early 2000s animes that would air normally and so i was drawn to it, also i found Natsu cool.

TL;DR : I literally got it from a random name generator.

you know after writing all this i just realized i literally have a natsu dragneel profile picture. It's just been there on my google account for so long i dont even notice it anymore. Actually, i dont even like fairy tail nowadays, like how the hell is it still going on???

in our dialect (one of Indonesia's province) one of the word for penis is nonok ... ofc as a kid i will use that somehow without sounding too direct

hence ive been using this nickname since then..
and also because :
its usually available when registering to an new website so i dont have to spend 5 billion years thinking about a new nickname

Not really an interesting one but i like the wandering Arabian travelers in the desert ,it feels cool
Actually I'm pretty sure the desert feels hot. Really really hot.

I almost used the username Max Quequette which I used in fighting games and can be translated as "maximum wiener".

Saw a guy with the same name in an AOL chat room 30 years ago and decided to steal it. My friend Dave kept calling "Frozzzz-teeeee" and it just stuck as my online persona for decades.

Stealing is definitively something Homer would do.
