What’s the most recent game that The Repo has given you?

Just wanted to check with the forum. For my part, I have to thank The Repo for helping supply me with the console compatible build of B3313. It’s been a lovely time to explore and only crashes about as much as your average Bethesda game :3

I've been playing Front Mission: Gun Hazard recently, straight from the Repo. I'm writing about it for my latest article coming soon. Its actually a really sweet game from the makers of Assault Suits Valken (also known as Cybernator in the west). It is a pretty cool sidescroller action RPG mech game. The story is also pretty decent. I'm surprised it doesn't get more mention as far as Front Mission games goes, it is one of the best I've played in the series.

It gave me a hidden gem which is Chou Soujuu Mecha MG which has different control schemes for each of the mecha though it is a bit annoying with touch screen controls especially in the later transforming mecha who turn into cars or other vehicles.

The repo has granted something I am super duper thankful for. I've wanted to get past early stages of this for ages, but find it more tricky and unfair than the DS sequel. As much as I want to devote time to this game, working full time means I have limited time to retry stages over and over to stop my little men from being taken to jail before I get taken to work jail.

I am not surprised though, it's from XING, the developers of Guardian Recall, another wonderful game that is actually not listed in the repo that I played when I was a teenager and replayed not too far ago:

Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy

These days I was watching Little Witch Academia a lot so I was looking for such video games like that. Despite the game is not about witches, its school aspect in a magical world seemed interesting. I didn't play the game much, I never heard of this series before so I have no opinion about it to recommend it to people or not but it's rather somewhat fun to experience characters and homework situations that you are graded upon if you want to experience a school theme I guess.

Oh yeah. Finding the Little Witch Academia game was the first thing I ever did. I usually check if whatever I watch ever has a video game if I like it enough and see a potential to be a video game. I was surprised it has a game and is developed in a very decent way that really seems like the original medium which is rare to see. However I didn't play it much and save it for later because I'm really overloaded with Little Witch Academia at the moment so I need a vacation from the cringe of Akko or I'll need cancer treatment soon and lose my beautiful hair I was growing for years lol.

I had no idea it has a co-op mode. It's nice to see owner of the IP really cares about their own creation which is very rare in the entertainment industry. They using all the potential of the IP in a decent way they can as co-op mode is very apropos for the theme of the anime already.

However I'm a grown-ass man and most of my gamer homies are also grown-ass men. They have no idea I have an interest in anime in a slightest way because I know they would be like "dude WTF" because they believe only losers something like a nerd would watch anime. They already accepted my scientific personality as a sense of humor, otherwise they all would burn me with torch because how nerdy I would seem to them lol. I do watch anime but not much, only the most interesting or humorous ones. On top of it I cannot explain anyone why I like Little Witch Academia as a grown-ass man and even I'm surprised by it and shamed of myself enough to start drinking and smoking for the first time in my life. It hit home hard you know lol? It make me wanna roll in my own shit crying and screaming "why" while it pours rain on me lol. It's just interesting and very funny despite how annoying Akko is. I can't just stop and admire how story progression is, how storytelling is and high quality of animations that's really rare to see. I guess if Carl Jung were alive he would explain it as "this fiction made you connect to the Anima in yourself so no wonder you liked it for being glad of being manifested out from you, it was the aspect of yourself that how you would be if you were a woman" however it wouldn't prevent even my women friends from being cringed out for liking something "so childish and girly". Women already bash me with "you are gay right" because I have zero interest in sexual aspect of social life so let's not add nuclear bomb to the sun and let my Little Witch Academia pleasure stay as guilty pleasure in secret lol.

That is kind of an interesting perspective. When I was a kid, my father bought me a NES and an Amiga 500 because I asked for them. After a while, my father was telling me that I was grown enough to play games but after he saw war and racing games, he started to be interested and play with me. I had a lot of fun with my dad at that time, and also with friends of course, but he kept saying that when I grew up more I would lose interest in those and start "chasing girls".

Until now, he was wrong and right at once, I still play videogames but I also go and get girls to have fun with, because I have a childish & crazy personality I am very proud of. I've learnt by own experience that girls love people who is very secure, fun and a little bit crazy, although I don't really care if a girl I like does not show interest in me or does not like me. Awkwardly, that sometimes works in a very unexpected way.

Anyways, before I start rambeling too much, what I wanted to say is that I never cared about showing other people what I like. I am a Pom Pom Purin and Peanuts (Snoopy) lover, and I have a pink t-shirt which says so:

My favourite color is pink, but bubblegum pink, and I love chubby things like hamsters, rabites or birds (my favourites). If you hear me talking with those you would think I am not human :D

I've been making my way through Steambot Chronicles recently. Having a pretty decent time, after I got (sorta) used to the controls.

Knew basically nothing about the game and had only a passing interest on it, but got surprised at how "sandboxy" it gets.

I do think people underestimate and misunderstand the "child" type they want to reject. I believe strongly that the child version of you is your unfiltered and purest aspect of yourself. As people grow up time and life experiences make them decay and decay so much eventually they are left without a sense of self, they become only a "should" statement. Despite they may do all the right things that's really an objective good ideas, they are not satisfied with their lives because they reject themselves by hating the child in themselves. Only those who let the child in them be happy can truly live, I think. You don't have to be Toichi Kuroba to think so lol.

Well I never chased girls. I don't care about people have a sex. Romantic and sexual stuff doesn't interest me. My only relation to sex in the way I care is eating Nacho Cheese Doritos lol. I was always a gamer though. When I was a child video game consoles didn't exist in my life, all we had was other kids and the imagination that allowed us to invent games. For me "fun" is a very basical emotional need that can hardly satisfied without playing games. Chasing girls wouldn't make me have fun. Thinking about nature of the gravity or having meaningful conversations with people does. I only loved one girl in my life, just because of her personality, but I didn't care it didn't lead to anything. I didn't even chase her because it would be pointless.

Well I really don't care being a male. My whole existence is against being a male according to he culture I'm living here. Here people think you are not a man if you have no interest in football. Men and women here have their own definition and expectation of what a man should be and it's rather something way harder to comprehend than quantum for me lol. For example I have no problem wearing pink, it can look cool. However if I had wear pink I imagine people would just jump out of the top floors of buildings just to beat me and women would cut my dick because "you don't deserve to be a man". This is that kind of society I'm living in. However women like guys who looks like a woman but has a toxic male personality even most typical dudes hates so go figure lol. If I was a pervert who obsessively chased girls even way more than a typical man, my dreams would be impossible to realize here despite how obsessed I would be. However if I had wanna invent a time machine it would be relatively way more easier lololol.

My society is hard and boring therefore these days I rely in this website to find myself decent video games to have fun therefore I'm very grateful for this website.

Aww, I really have to stress I didn't call you pervert just for clarification. I meant it as in the highest state a person can be in a way they want to chase a girl in such a crazy way but despite their persistence they still fail in my society lol. It may work in many societies but not in my society. Chasing girls doesn't work in my society. Either they choose you or not, but they don't chase guys either.

Yes, self awareness is very important to avoid mistakes. However they make mistakes they are still proud of in a way they are glad they make mistakes. I don't understand the way they live their life at all. They do harm themselves in many ways they have no idea of, and when they self sabotage their lives they can even blame aliens for it lol.

Yep. That's an admirable healthy way to live a life. Have fun to enjoy your life, don't disrespect people to don't make yourself hate yourself and they won't wanna mess with your life so you can all live in peace as much as you can. But then if someone disrespects me intentionally despite I didn't deserve it then I start to drop the atomic bomb on them lol. This is the only way disrespect makes sense for me.
