Whats the hardest game to emulate on which system?

New Tetris and Libdragon games are a good benchmark to test if your N64 emulator is RSP-accurate

either dragons crown on ps3 or outrun 2006 coast 2 coast on ps2.. i dont know those are just ones ive had issues with
Somehow its runs fine for me in nethersx2 (and my kirin 710f barely can play shadow of the colossus at 11 to 17fps)

For me is Tekken Tag Tournament (1999-2000) from Arcade (MAME) and PS2 (PCSX2) due that the game uses better quality of models and scenarios (especially in the PS2 version), also for the 7th level that of the temple that uses several details in the textures of the models which gives it the semi-realistic aspect also because of the 4-player mode that squeezes even more the console hardware but in emulation it is Impossible Run it at full speed on both MAME and PCSX2 Even with the best performance settings and I can't even catch up with the Even with the best performance settings and I can't even reach 100% speed only reaches between 50~70% speed in MAME but on PCSX2 between 70~90% speed in the PAL Version and In addition, the Underclock is useless because it only slows down the game natively instead of running the game at a decent speed because the game uses 95% of the CPU although the game is very difficult to optimize even on a High-End PC due to the operation of the game is different from the other Namco games both MAME (Although many Namco System 12 games are more demanding than the Namco System 11 because it uses 100MHz of CPU compared to the 67MHz of the Namco System 11) and PCSX2 (Although Tekken 4 and 5 work well on PCSX2 despite both games being as demanding but not as demanding as Tekken Tag Tournament due to them being ports of Namco's Arcade Board System 246 and PCSX2 it cannot emulate PS2-based arcade systems except Play! but it's not perfect and requires more resources than PCSX2 in my opinion.
Ik that game and the arcade version runs better then the ps2 one
Edit: ok with the newest nethersx2 version it jumped form 10fps to 30fps/20fps

Birth by sleep. Tolerating its gameplay is the hardest task I’ve ever performed.

the Tiger LCD port of Double Dragon.

it's rumored to be powered by a combined unit consisting of Laserdisc n Vectrex tech that even top scientists are bamboozled into strait jackets over

your name bro.... I wouLd imagine MD Geist's fav song is the anthemic 'Poison' as a contrast to the hopeful lyrics with MD Geist instead wanting face-value 'Poison' to mean spreading plague, famine, genocide in a perpetual war situ (how he pushed that hot airhead off was Duke Togo-worthy!)

no jealousssssyyyyy... nooo poiiiii zunnnnnnnnnnnnnn

have you seen the end of MD Geist 1 and Death Force? it shows what he wants... also the metal osts from those films are incredible... my favorite is when col krutze sees him and his face goes oh shit... i think his favorite music would be the album Amebix 's Monolith.... edit- or anything Motorhead... in particular Bomber

This was my line of thinking too, something with a fairly obscure controller that wouldn't likely be compatible due to just not a lot of people having it, so it's not a high priority for the folks working on the emulator. But the one I was thinking of was Martial Beat for PS1. Maybe also Para Para Paradise on PS2, or Exciting Boxing on Famicom with the inflatable controller?
Yeah, that's the gist of my thought process. I didn't want to point out something that is currently impoosible to emulate, but would be an amount of effort almost none would go to.

I believe Xemu Canary does have a bit of headway on running SB, and there's an old Windows 10 driver someone did write for the controller, but it's very far from plug-and-play, and you have to turn off some pretty base-level security protections to even install it. And, you know, own the thing, haha

Not sure if OP was more interested on a "horsepower" level, but that's of course a lot more relative.

Are you using WinUAE? Have you tried the beta versions?
No I've only tried PUAE. I guess I need to tweak the CPU cycles, à la DOSBox, but I haven't found a tutorial on that yet for Alien Breed 3D 2 and the other more demanding A4000 games. Between juggling with the various kickstart BIOS, finding proper .lha rom, it can take a bit of tweaking to find the optimal settings.

I happened to read that emulation of the Sega Saturn was particularly difficult because the original hardware involved a very complex architecture run by two separate processors. This aspect famously made for somewhat troubled development by the development houses. However, I never encountered any problems to emulate it with the help of Mednafen, either in standalone or core version on Retroarch...
