Whats the hardest game to emulate on which system?

the Tiger LCD port of Double Dragon.

it's rumored to be powered by a combined unit consisting of Laserdisc n Vectrex tech that even top scientists are bamboozled into strait jackets over

this is the future of the fuckin most futuristic future evaRR - sum serious shit here - not for the faint of heart - pack a lunch cuz it's an aLL-day eh'ee-day curb whoopinz etc. etc.

I mean, do we want to get into technicalities here?

Probably Steel Battalion or the sequel w/ the original (intended) controller for Xbox.

Afaik the game doesn't currently get past the intro in Xemu, and you would have to jump through a lot of hoops to get the controller usable on PC. And then learn how to use it after getting it working and calibrating it lol

If you're on Mac, Sakura Wars. Your only options are a bit annoying aside from Yabause on Retroarch, which makes the patch crash after the first chapter

Other than that, computer games in general are infamous on Mac due to the majority of them being meant for Windows. Being Mac user is suffering Meduka

For me is Tekken Tag Tournament (1999-2000) from Arcade (MAME) and PS2 (PCSX2) due that the game uses better quality of models and scenarios (especially in the PS2 version), also for the 7th level that of the temple that uses several details in the textures of the models which gives it the semi-realistic aspect also because of the 4-player mode that squeezes even more the console hardware but in emulation it is Impossible Run it at full speed on both MAME and PCSX2 Even with the best performance settings and I can't even catch up with the Even with the best performance settings and I can't even reach 100% speed only reaches between 50~70% speed in MAME but on PCSX2 between 70~90% speed in the PAL Version and In addition, the Underclock is useless because it only slows down the game natively instead of running the game at a decent speed because the game uses 95% of the CPU although the game is very difficult to optimize even on a High-End PC due to the operation of the game is different from the other Namco games both MAME (Although many Namco System 12 games are more demanding than the Namco System 11 because it uses 100MHz of CPU compared to the 67MHz of the Namco System 11) and PCSX2 (Although Tekken 4 and 5 work well on PCSX2 despite both games being as demanding but not as demanding as Tekken Tag Tournament due to them being ports of Namco's Arcade Board System 246 and PCSX2 it cannot emulate PS2-based arcade systems except Play! but it's not perfect and requires more resources than PCSX2 in my opinion.

oh yeah?.. rumble roses (pcsx2) and soul calibur 2 (dolphin) work great as of my recent playthroughs

I heard that it can be very annoying to play some famicom disk system games which have more than two disks and it don't come combined in one single rom.
Some PS3 games can be played from start to finish without trouble, but you need to have a strong gaming PC too.

And now I'm going to lowkey throw a curveball:
Some older computer games on older versions of windows can be very hard to get running on modern systems to the point it might be easier to emulate a game from another system...

best driving games seems to require more time to be flawless playable on emulation

I remember World Driving Championship on N64 required a lot of years back then to be correctly emulated

Forza Motorsport on Xemu is another massive title still distant; technically a beast one imo
