What's the craziest moment for you when gaming

One crazy and disappointing moment was: when my Brother completed Budokai Tenkaichi 3 Cell tournament in hard difficulty, and he unlocked King Cold.
Then we tried the character only to discover that he had only 2 life bars and was a worse version of freezer second form 😅

Lmao that sucks, kinda makes sense though
Dude is just big, even Base Yamcha can even give him a challenge

First time playing MGS3 when you have to pretend to be a scientist. I was in the lower parts of the facility, where the cells are... the guard was passing by me so I looked towards the wall to avoid crossing glances... then I noticed a spider walking along the wall. I observe it in first person... and it bites me! After the scare I intuitively punched her - the poor thing stayed glued to the wall although she left her poison on me ha. The guard was suspicious of my behavior and approached me but I left walking quickly. Every time I go back to the game in that part and that spider, I remember that moment where I was immersed in the game - I love those moments where you don't think about which button to press to perform one action or another. You are so immersed in the game that you already move through it as if you were part of it. DBZ BT3 has that feeling too. You don't think about it, you live it. (Excuse my English, I hope you understand)

I can understand that! Clearly too!

Also WOW and yes, every Metal Gear Solid have it's own unique details like that. Everytime and everyday I keep discovering new things from each of those games

Thanks for the story, your English is pretty good too!::dkapproves
When I finally make progress in my backlog
Ah yes, that reminds me ::peek

Probably the time I no-damage ran Ninja Gaiden on a whim.

I was stoned and wanted to get my game on, know what I'm sayin'? At the time, I was sharing a room with my little bro (I was a teenager) and realized he was using the TV. I wanted to play something really bad, so I thought I'd make it interesting for him, coming up with a challenge run off the top of my head. It had been a few months since I played Ninja Gaiden, but I was confident.

Of course, back then we were all under the impression that Bloody Malth could not be beaten without taking damage, so he was the one exception.

Personally I think the videos are all a bunch of hoaxes; I'm pretty good at Ninja Gaiden. I've practiced on that battle for hours and could not dodge a single one.

I did manage to no-damage the rest after that, though.

because the craziest thing (for me) just happened recently

completing the ending e of nier replicant, and having your entire saved data, erased, cuz of plot reasons, is a moment you dont see in vgames that often.

all that grind and exp, gets off paneled, because the game makes you to do it, pmuch, the game does not allow the same name to be used for another playthrough, insane, yoko taro is a madman, lol

That's just crazy ::poggurai
I love when a game or the developers make you do something like that

It reminds me of the saying, "the hardest choices require the strongest wills"

The last crazy thing i remember was when i played Dark Souls 1 loooong time ago.

Once, i was trying to do trophies in this game. Some of them indicates you to reinforce a weapon with differents elements. I did everything fine until i got left the last weapon reinforcement, don't remember which one...

Then, i went in to the deeps of Darkroot Garden where there's a door and behind that, we found a forest where people invade you very often.

I go down the stairs at the beggining, and i get invaded by some asshole. I summon another asshole. As soon everyone start popping out i run too fast into the woods, with the invader and the other behind my back xD

In the middle of my coward act i conclude that i could kill myself and then come back offline lol

I saw the cliff near, but just a second before i went out of the forest i realize that i was in fornt of an object in the ground. Pick up fast and then i throw myself in to the dark mouth of death...

And you know what? IN THE BLACK SCREEN THE LAST TROPHIE I NEED APPEARED... WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT¿'¿'¿''''¿¿¿¿'''''¿¿¿¿¡¡?????

The item in the ground was a sword with the reinforcement i need...lol

Damn that's crazy! Of course it's gotta be Dark Souls with these kinds of story lmao. I also love the bit "invaded by some asshole" "I summon another asshole", lol

Only Souls games can have all this kind of shit happening like it's Tuesday fr. Anyway, great story ::dkapproves

There's the most recent of these times where I just completely forgot that battleship attacks in SRW can do friendly fire against ally units and accidently wiped out a lot of my squad when I was streaming on my personal server. The funniest part is that my boyfriend saw this and was like "I WALKED AWAY TO GET SOME WATER FOR ONE MINUTE AND THIS HAPPENS" while one of our mutual friends was dying of laughter in VC.

The second one was... a couple of years ago during one of my random playthroughs of Muramasa: The Demon Blade on Wii. I don't remember all the details, so bear with me. Let me start out with a bit of context. After completing the main story, you become able to warp to shrines (basically, you can travel between save points). When you're dropped off at each area, you're dropped off in front of the shrine in that area.

I was specifically playing as Momohime and was fighting Kisuke's bosses in the post-game, so I was travelling to each according area. I don't remember where exactly I was travelling to, I thiiinkkk it was Musashi, but when I tried warping to there, something weird happened. So, the area did look like one of the usual areas of Musashi, but there was no subtitle that told me the name of the area I was in. Of course, I was extremely confused because I was not at the shrine of the area I travelled to. When I tried to move my character, it looked like they were glitching out. I think the best way to describe it was if you were moving the control stick in a 2-D platformer left and right really fast, that was the effect that was going on. Except it would be happening if I was moving in a single direction. I could still move the direction I tilted, but it was a lot slower than usual. I was genuinely confused when this happened. I didn't think to try exploring the area I was in probably because I was a bit panicked at the time. The first thing I could think of doing was use a Bronze Mirror to warp to the last shrine I visited, and it worked perfectly normal. After that, I tried warping to the same area I was trying to go to before and there was no weird glitch this time. Honestly, I have no idea how that happened before, but it was a pretty weird moment.

Damn, that's a pretty long story. Not complaining though! Anyway, the first one is actually quite common lol, especially in those kinds of games.

The second one is interesting, that must've been like a 1 in a million moment, uncommon glitches or something. Great stuff though, thanks for sharing!

No problem, I don't get to share it much, so I had fun talking about it.

It definitely felt like I was experiencing something that was a 1 in a million moment at the time and it's honestly something I think about a lot.

I'm glad you had fun talking about it! And yeah, even I'd think about it too (thankfully that didn't crash the game)

I have two things:
1. I was into the jailbreaking iPhones scene back in the iOS 10 days, and not a lot people I knew or spoke to did the same thing (they found it a waste of time, as "the iPhone is perfect the way it is", etc.). Anyway, this was in the GBA4iOS days, and I was playing Pokemon FireRed on the train, and a kid sits next to me ... and he is on a jailbroken iPhone, playing Minish Cap on GBA4iOS ... We were both so shocked that we spoke for a bit, but never even got each other's names. I still think of him.

2. Not as detailed, but for some reason, 18-year-old me playing Kingdom Hearts 2 for the first, and getting towards the end of the story ... having Riku in your party after a long-awaited reunion ... That got me in the gut.

Bro that kid would've been your best friend! But hey, at least you guys chill though. Even though you both only spoke for a bit, cool experience though!

And I felt that, that feeling of getting your crew back is the best kind of feeling
