What’s something you’ve said that was misinterpreted in a oddly specific way? And how did people interpret it?

For example, I once asked something about a Chrono Trigger romhack called Chrono Trigger+ and people thought I was talking about the new game+ mechanic. I also saw a friend saying that Minecraft has the best movement in any game and someone replied saying that the movie was an influence of that and PewDiePie made it popular again

Once said to a guy "we beaten you so badly" in arabic when we were playing football he thought i insulted his sister so a fight broke out the word width in arabic has similar pronunciation to the word "honor" in arabic i know you are probably confused but bear with me anyway we fought and that's it.

My friend thought the word horny meant you have horns he got mad when i told him "your horny"

I once complimented a friend telling him he is a good student bro thought I'm mocking him....

Told my friend the same guy with the horny story I'm working to buy a PC he took shit out of context and spent an hour explaining to me how it's not worth it then I told him how much it costs and he was like "huh? What? I thought it WAY more expensive"

When i was 3rd or 4th grade i was having a heated discussion with someone in class a girl from my class says something and my response included "my dear" people made a fuss out of a small mishap....

i get missunderstood all the time but the funniest to me is that my friends thought i was satanic because when i was playing The binding of isaac i got a good devil deal, and i said something like "thanks satan, pleasure to do business with you as always" ashjdjsaddsa

He only knew about the verb as a synonym for sex and not as an insult. As such, we had a very awkward conversation that basically amounted to me trying to explain that I'm not a pervert. She'd always ask, and I accidentally unplugged my headset with my arm and my music started blaring out loud. She asked me again what the hell I was listening to, and I told her it was metal, she said "Do you believe in Satan?" and I told her that the more demonic the song was the better it was. She didn't know what to say to me lol.

On this very forum actually. Gorse, may he rest in peace, once thought I had some kind of grudge against him and called me out on it. It was totally 100% my fault though, because I didn't stop to think that me just inserting myself into an existing conversation out of nowhere totally looked like I was trying to swooce in and one-up him in some way, while in my head I just thought I joined a conversation. Really blunt behavior on my part. I felt really fucking bad and apologized profusely, and we made up, but I still cringe super hard if I think back on it.
I'm really glad he forgave me, because I really didn't mean anything, and was kind of shocked that I hadn't picked up on the vibes, because I'm usually good at reading the room. One of the worst feelings in the world to me is accidentally offending people.

As for the "oddly specific" part, he thought I was being literal when I used the word "conspiracy", but I hadn't registered in my mind that he already thought I was accusing him of something.
