Movies What’s a movie you watched but then immediately regretted it?

I popped in Human Centipede 2 on a Halloween date night thinking it'd be super cheesy like the first. Boy, what an evening that turned out to be.

New Lilo & Stitch - Awful.
One film which made me genuinely sick and sad after watching it was The Devil's Chair...but I'd still recommend it.

Seems like the perfect way to filter people out. Are they into this? If yes, they never get another date.

I mean, tbf, it's an effective movie :loldog Easily better than the 1st. Just very mean-spirited and not very fun to watch. A bit like A Serbian Film, which has also been mentioned.

The actor who plays the main character is brilliantly unlikable. Apparently for his audition he had to do "things" to a chair.

I could see the first one as a curiosity, like "could this be medically feasible, and if it was... why?" But the second one is just weird shock stuff for the sake of shock, and it 100% lost me with the baby thing. I never saw 3 but I can't imagine it being any better. Still not as bad to me as Irreversible, but it's not far off.

Yeah the premise is a hook enough to warrant a single viewing, but the second one was just a much better film in terms of pure film-making and entertainment. Iirc the first film mainly just consists of 3 not-very-good actors making mundane conversation in a car. That's like half the runtime.

But the 2nd one is uncomfortable, purposefully unpleasant, and (while it still has bad acting in places) is generally more gripping...until it turns away 95% of folks with the baby thing.

I'm reluctant to watch Irreversible, but I will one day. I watched Climax by the same Director (Noe), and it was pretty good. Visually interesting, at least.

Garbage Pail Kids
The Rise of Skywalker
Sausage Party
Megan is Missing
Grave Encounters
Human Centipede 2 - Not because of anything gross, but because I apparently have a fear of actual centipedes that was activated by that movie ::sadkirby

Good Time, I thought Uncut Gems was Adam Sandler's best role and knowing the same guys made this movie I thought it was going to be decent, I ended up straight hating this movie.
The stupid gotcha moment when you see the brother got hit and then the MC goes to release only to find it's the wrong guy. How it was done is such bad way of subverting expectations.

Anywho I forgot the rest, it just didn't hit and kinda glad.

Too bad the same guy recommended Lighthouse lol but after hearing great things about Lighthouse I'm going to eventually check it out.

I tried doing an Air Bud marathon with my friends for the fun of it. We gave up after the sequel with the funniest title to any movie ever: Air Bud 2: Golden Reciever. How could you ever top that?? Pretty stupid movies, though.
"Seventh inning fetch" is also pretty stellar. The name, I mean. No idea about the movie.
