Other games I like to revisit are Final Fantasy VII, IX, and Dragon Quest VIII. Those are pretty long though.

Questions like these always boil down to a handful of games for me: Borderlands 2, Suikoden, Front Mission 3, Heroes of Might and Magic 3, Final Fantasy IV-VII.
Some of the recent games I have played show great potential to enter that list, namely Clair Obscur, Persona 4 and Metaphor ReFantazio, but only time will tell :D Oh and Vampire Survivors! I think that one is already a future-proof bet for me.
