What’s a game that makes you feel embarrassed while playing it.

Street Fighter: The Motion Picture (Arcade version)

It's the campy nature of it, I guess. But I do like Boxer in this one tho. He's super cheap to use lol

You know those “games” of 3DO and Sega Saturn
Oh My God Lol GIF by Lifetime

My friend in college gifted me HuniePop, that game was embarrassing to play but it was fun.

Other than feeling like a dirty old man in a high school slice of life anime the entire time playing? Excellent game, actually.

... I... like to cook.... so sue me.....
Cooking Mama is peak game design and I will fight anyone who says otherwise.

ARMA 3. I love that game, but it's just too embarrassing for me to go up to players and ask them for help with controls or stuff like that. I'm also kinda shy, so it's a problem if I get into a gunfight because people there usually use a lot of voice communication.

Mouth words bad. Finger words good.

I've got the exact same issue with DayZ lol

Think someone touched on it earlier, but yeah, FFX-2. FFX was terrible with some of the voice acting but the story and gameplay carried you forward. FFX-2, there was no redeeming features in story or gameplay early on for such huge cringe as a young man. It went back to the gamestore the next day for a fraction of the cost. Criminal really. Just a small bit before they brought in the rental system.

"Tales of" games are a bit embarrassing for me to play on a device with speakers, or similar voice acting-heavy "weeb-style" adventure games for teenagers because they're often written in a pretty juvenile fashion, and I'm FAR too sofisticated to be caught enjoying such PROVINCIAL writing, harrumph! ::winnie

Lol, chasing the dragon brings it's embarrassments. It's left an embarrassing trail that's difficult to plough through.

One time, a roommate walked in while this cutscene from Star Ocean 4 was playing

I wanted to die.
Looks and sounds like something a character in a Sitcom would play in a scene where he is gaming

There are only two games that I'll play while no one is watching and those are: Just Dance and Hyperdimension Neptunia.

I've taken up Just Dance Wii as a way to lose a little weight by engaging in some fun cardio, but the problem is is that I'm a very introverted, uncoordinated old man. Maybe after enough practice when I'm actually good at the game, maybe I could finally open up, but for now absolutely not.

I used to be a very self-conscious teenager, especially when it came to anime, because back in the early 2010's liking anime (and Naruto especially) would get you teased at; so when it came to JRPGs like Persona 3 Portable or any other anime-esque game, I used to keep it to myself that I played those sorts of games and only talked about them online. Well now I'm in my 30's and a lot has changed, anime is a lot more socially accepted now and is even a part of popculture, and I've gained a little bit of confidence or at least reassurance that no one really cares about what I play to entertain myself, so I play a lot of anime games and JRPGs very openly. But Hyperdimension Neptunia? It's almost like it revived my teenage anxieties, this is not a game I want to get caught playing. Every character being a cute girl with over the top voice acting, the occasional fan-service, etc is a bit too much, but I like the premise of the games and enjoy the gameplay. ::nervous-prinny

Any game that has sex scenes or fan service. For example, I remember when every time I played Senran Kagura I turned my head to my room's door to see if my mom or my dad was coming.

Just playing on the Vita in general
95% of people are probably gonna mistake it for a PSP so you're fine.

Isn't that the game where where a full grown ass woman sexually harasses and/or assaults a small child? Not even played as something meant to be disturbing, it was either for laughs or fanservice which is fucking disgusting.

There are some twisted game devs out there. I enjoy a bit of mindbending stuff but some of these fellas should be rooted out as a danger to civilisation in general. That's the paradox with free speech and free expression. Children playing stuff like what you just pointed out is just abuse.
