For me, it’s a couple examples:

Samba De Amigo Wii, I’m just sitting there awkwardly shaking the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to the song. It’s especially embarrassing when the controls decide not to work properly.

Wii Fit Plus, I really only play this when nobody is home. I’ve had multiple walk-ins into my room because they heard all the thumping from the Step Up minigame.

Mario Kart Tour, I don’t want people seeing me play a racing game that wants to rob your wallet.

Sonic Colors (Wii), The bad childish dialogue makes me roll my eyes in embarrassment. I don’t want other people hearing the bad jokes so I turn the volume low because I don’t want people coming in and making fun of me.

Sonic Heroes: Similar reasons to the last example. Except it’s very cheesy dialogue and not childish dialogue.

Sega Superstars: I avoid certain minigames in this collection because I’ll look like a dumbass when I play it, or the EyeToy has trouble reading my inputs on that minigame. (My room is not very large and my bed takes up a large chunk of the room and it forces me to have my body to not be fully shown)

Fortnite: I wouldn’t touch that game even with a 49 and a half foot pole!

Bootleg games: I don’t want to be seen playing a bootleg.

A very poorly received game: I fear that someone would ridicule me for playing a terrible game.

All these Sonic related picks..Sonicbros....How do we recover?

The Style Savvy games for me, i make sure I shudder the blinds, fold my pictures and hide my toaster in my kitchen cabinet. I hate to see what people would think of me when i make the cutest outfits

Robocop for PS2. I only played it to see how bad it was and then quit after a while.
Snoopy and the Red Baron. It's not bad, it's just a kids' game and I played it to reconnect with the characters.
Crash & Burn PS2. Low-budget Burnout.
Some games in the Simple Series. Some are cringe-inducing.

My friend walked in when I was playing this on my DS.

Nowadays I'm very unapologetic about by stuff (if my avatar didn't gave it away already) and all my friends know it, but this was back in 2009, if something looked "gay", you were going to be made fun of. And boy, this minigame didn't help xD

At least he understood it was a rhythm game.

I immediately thought of "Moero Crystal" for Vita

I played the main story (no post-game because in the end I got fed up with the fanservice) because for me it was a cool idea having lots of different characters (with different design and skills) from which you could choose for your party. A Pokemon-like mechanic inserted in a dungeon crawler, plus I like anime girls illustrations... BUT I felt embarassed with the rub minigame, I was like "looking somewhere else and trying to finish it as soon as possible".

Generally speaking I really do not care about what some real or imaginary third party would think about me playing a game but waggling Wii controllers around do tend to make that "what the hell am I doing with my life" feeling creep up on me.

if its not hentai no even them i only care cause i live with my mom

this is actually a hard question...I really don't have games I feel shame or embarrassment while playing. Not even when it comes to cutesy adorably weird games like Taiko no Tatsujin
if I had I give an answer though...definitely Beat Saber all the way

does the shame from failing constantly at Kirby and Mario games count? (I utterly suck at platformers)

Easy for me it would be the Senran Kagura Games for me other any other Game that has Cultured stuff in it.And well Dark Souls and Elden Ring it very Embarrassing to die that often.

None. I've 100% on Mary Kate and Ashley's Magical Mystery Mall, I played a bunch of the PS1 Teletubbies game, I can't be shaken by embarrassment. When it comes to games, anyway. If I shit my pants at a wedding or something I might be a small bit embarrassed

Embarrassment is for lesser cheese-headed nobility. I shall now go play Princess Maker 2, with gusto. And not show the wife because she's the only one I care about being embarrassed around.
Literally just finished that game YESTERDAY. GO ON, BROTHER. EXPLORE THE WORLD OF PEAK FREELY!!!

Danganronpa Ultra Despair Girls made me feel so embarassed in so many ways in so many different parts of the game.
I wished I enjoyed it more, and I'm surprised I even finished it but ughh. I couldn't combat myself from cringing in T H A T mini-game. You know the one.

Usually, I feel embarrassed playing a game if it's clear I suck at it. Like it felt embarrassing for me to play through Sonic Adventure 2 for the first time ever in front of my bf because I will admit, I did die several times while playing and that made me embarrassed because I felt like I should be doing better. (I had never played the game before, so it was actually my first time playing)

The only other game I felt embarrassed playing was Fate/Extra CCC mostly because of the Secret Garden CGs. I had to be careful to not play in a place I knew someone in my family would be looking over my shoulder because of it.

Does it make sense saying my eyes are fast and I see what need to do to progress the stage but my reflexes are slow and terrible -that's why I also have a hard time with stuff like Tekken?

I could remember combos on fighting games but I get nervous and forget them or not perform them fast enough lol, then I see other people do it and I'm like...well damn.

Also Im not calling you terrible at SA2 I hope that didn't sound like that.
