Hey!
I do not know a single bit about tabletop games. Could someone explain them to me?

It's stuff like Dungeons and Dragons, but it can also cover board games and stuff like that. Anything you generally play at a table. Usually people call D&D style games 'tabletop roleplaying games' (TTRPGs) to help differentiate them.

Technically it is a catch-all term for any game that can be played on a table, but usually people use it to refer to stuff like board games, pen-and-paper RPGs, or card games

Serious: Yes, technically anything played on a table can be called a tabletop game, but traditionally, titles like Dungeons & Dragons, Vampire: The Masquerade, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, and Risk fall into that classic category. In worlds of fantasy and chaos, just like they’re meant to.

Keep that in mind when expecting a reply from the people on it,
