What would you choose in my place? the 7th gen koei musou games, splinter cell and deus ex or the need for speed games?

^ This basically, i got a new external disc for my birthday and filled out almost all of it with games, podcasts and stuff (1tb basically), don't know if i should get only one of this type of games only, i have 134gb left (could be 164 but the naruto storm cutscenes take a good percentage of space) and don't know for sure.

I played a bit of pirates warriors 3 without watching the anime or read the manga, watched a video of the first game and thought that it used qte's pretty well (better than the storm games to be honest) but then i saw they removed them from the games that came after, i like musou games and this one retells the story well (even if telling the story trough text only is a bit of a letdown and zoro dosen't look good in 3d as he does in early anime romance dawn), but i don't know what to think about the other musou games (dynasty, orochi, samurái, etc) i played some of them on psp and enjoyed them but not for much, the one i think is the best of that kind of games is ultimate ninja impact (wich isn't even made by koei/tecmo, weird.

Then there's the 7th gen nfs games (prostreet - rivals) and they feel pretty bland but they're aren't bad, just not as good as the games from ug - carbon/carbon own the city, they aren't heavy in disc use for the most part except for "on the run" and i also have an issue with the first shift game where it resets the visual settings of my pc to default.

Then there's the splinter cell and deus ex sagas, i bundled them because there aren't many games in each series an at least there's a narrative hook to them, the weird thing is that one of the deus ex games has a director's cut.

And also: should i keep the naruto storm cutscenes or should i watch them from youtube? they take a lot of space but the inmersion is on point! (Might guy vs madara)

Sorry for the long post, an answer is appreciated, more of it's detailed

Thanks for reading.

I'm a beat 'em up fan so it would be muou games for me. PSP is not the best platform to play warriors games on in general. Most of them are stripped down experiences.

Dynasty Warriors 8XL and Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate are basically top of the line for musou games. That's what most fans will tell you. I especially like DW8XL and would recommend that.

I have a soft spot for Musou games too, and I'll second the recommendation for Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate, it's probably my favorite one overall.

This. I'd also add Samurai Warriors 4 (not 4-II, the base game was better). Dynasty Warriors 8XL, Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate and Samurai Warriors 4 are the holy trinity of musou games.

That was Koei at their peak. I doubt we'll ever see another mainline entry that recaptures that magic. Dynasty 9 and Samurai 5 both throroughly butchered their respective series.

But I personally don't mind. 8XL, 3U and 4 already have all the musou you could ever want. And the spinoffs are usually pretty good too. ::dkapproves

I also really like the Zelda & Fire Emblem Musou games!

Hi gordas...

I checked the musou games that interested me and checked your recommendations, there's like 6 of them that i could get into ( 8xl, samurái warriors 4, warriors orochi 3, dynasty warriors 6, pirate warriors 3 and i think 1 more) but much like nfs, over saturation might start to hit in, the only annual/yearly series i could forigve was assasin's creed because of the great moments the "past" stories had, much like the uns series i left the cutscenes there because even if i'm not into the gameplay i could at least get into the characters, story and memorable or epic moments (even if lacking in execution like desmond and the protagonist from AC iii), because with a few gameplay elements exceptions the first and last realases play the same (1-rogue)

Take into account that my pc is as powerful as a nintendo switch, i don't think something like the latest musou port could run well with even with ps3 graphics (remember, pirate warriors 3 was 10 years ago, specs back then where mostly dual core level) and the games even if they're good they pretty much play the same (also tried fe warriors, has a weird visual glitch on citra bit it was very enjoyable)

Might start to get into splinter cell and deus ex, i got the first 4 hitman games, why not? Do you recommend any other narrative hooking game series from the 7th gen that isn't telltale? or should i get just this series and lerñt the rest of the space be there of if i need it someday?

Thanks for reading.

Deus Ex

Deus Ex.

Always Deus Ex... although, I'll admit that the only truly great one is the original.

The original Deus Ex is an absolute masterpiece.

Human Revolution and Mankind Divided are really good. Maybe not like the original, but good games.

For me, the only bad Deus Ex is Invisible War
