I was pretty young, so I don't know if my memories of playing the SNES were from me having one or playing it at other people's houses. If it wasn't the SNES though, it was definitely the N64.

My first one was a fake NES that I had no idea it's fake one back then. I don't remember its name but we were calling it "Atari" because all we know was Atari 2600 so we thought it's a new Atari console or something lol. My uncle bought it to me one day without a box or anything, just via a paper bag and it only had Duck Hunt and its gun. And then one day one of my friend came over and saw the fake NES and said its game can be changed so he gave me some games he didn't wanna play anymore, it was when I got to know a concept of consoles' game can be changed because before a fake NES I had an Atari 2600 that you didn't have to change game. Every time you turned it on it run a random game, not even in any particular order lol. The fake NES wasn't like that.

I envy you so much. My first handheld ever was the green Game Boy Pocket, and my parents convinced me to give it to my cousin when I got the Game Boy Advance. Still pisses me off 20+ years later.

Those things are friggin' indestructible. Just checked mine and yellowed and caked in ancient dust as it is, the thing still works.
