What was your favorite halo custom game?

If you played custom games on halo 3- present what was your favorite custom game? I really enjoyed Ghost busters on hide and seektown on halo 3. My friends didn't like it as much as I did though.

Likely cheating by mentioning it, since it became an official gametype, but I recall enjoying Grifball quite a bit. It's been a long time since I've booted up a Halo title.

I also think I remember Laser Dodgeball as well. This may have been more of a Reach custom gamemode, as I ended up playing Halo late in the 360's life. One team dodged, while the other one fired away until they won or time ran out.

I really used to love obstacle course/puzzle custom maps in Halo 3, and played any ones I could find. One day I'll dig my 360 up just to revisit the map, but I distinctly remember one on Foundry that was really obtuse, and had some crazy tight jumps that lead to someone I was friends with at the time betting me 1600 Microsoft points that he could beat it without my help over the span of a few days. I don't remember what I bought with them, but it was a sweet victory nonetheless.

A close second was playing Tower of Power with a long timer, and no kill limits back on the good ole XBConnect days of Halo 2. Tons of fun.

Thats a classic man we really had it all with the file browser and customs back in the day.

I was OBSESSED with Halo 3 custom game modes back when it was new. I made a couple I was really proud of like this Juggernaut mode called "Terminator" where the juggernaut player teleports in on a custom map I made on Rat's Nest. I remember there being a special player the terminator player had to take out, but I can't remember if that was a thing in 3 or Reach now.

But also nothing will ever top Big Team Battle on Capture the Flag on the Sandtrap map still. Turned the game into this pirate ship battle with giant mobile tank bases. Halo is still the king of the capture the flag game mode in general for me.
