I was looking into this one arcade game published by Taito called Vertexer (1993). Extremely rare and considered a holy grail amongst Taito/Arcade fans, (rumored only 20 units manufactured, 4 of which are owned by collectors unsurprisingly). There's very little info about it, and it's not known very well as far as I'm aware. The footage and known photographs look very etheral and strange, a lot of comparisons made to F-Zero, there is no rom that has been dumped yet sadly.

Gobsmacking pixel art though! I would love to play it, it looks so cool! I sincerely recommend looking more into it, fascinating stuff. Imagine how many more fantastic arcade games are lost to time!

It's a very old ad for a Japanese cosmetics company called Noevir, featuring Virgina Ashley's song I'm Sorry. There are a fucking million of these things, and I've been watching them all in a hypnotic trance for the past day. The one I linked above is my favourite... I would totally own that painting, but I'm afraid it would scare me in the middle of the night. This one is good too, because the chick in it is a total babe and I think it's pretty hilarious.

Sometimes, when I watch these 80s/90s Japanese TV clips before bed, I start thinking I've already gone to sleep, and the line between reality and the dream world blurs.
