What videogame world do you want to live in for the rest of your life?

Probably Terca Lumireis from Tales of

It would be fun being part of a Guild or create one.

Probably Tamriel since it’s so fleshed out and realized (albeit dangerous). If I had to choose a province then probably High Rock or Cyrodiil.

Pokémon a close second because it seems like a utopia where science and nature is in perfect harmony. If I had to choose a region then probably Hoenn or Kalos.

This is actually a pretty easy answer for me, someone proposed the question to me before and I thought about it an unhealthy amount. The Mass Effect universe would be my choice. Can't go wrong with an awesome sci-fi setting with lots of cool races to see and interact with. The problem is where on the timeline would I want to exist. It sure as hell wouldn't be during the events of ME2-3, shit was rough, especially in 3. I wouldn't want to participate in the First Contact War because I'm a wuss, but I'd be fine just hiding in terror on Earth or something. So I guess born whenever, but I want to die on the day the Normandy is attacked by the Collectors at the start of ME2. Either by old age or something awesome happening to me.

Let's say that you were playing a game, any game, and suddenly you were sucked into that game's world ( don't ask how) and now you have to live there for the rest of your life.
What game would you choose?
I feel like part of me would want to live in Lunatea in Klonoa 2. Especially after Klonoa reunited the 5 Kingdoms. A world of tranquility, discord, joy, sorrow, indecision. I be contend with life. Only issue is I gotta learn a fictional language.

Online fighting game, Gem Fighter.
I know there's an international version, I just like the original better. I'd go so far as to learn the language just for the differences.
Then I'd never have to stop whooping ass. ?

Otherwise Fallout New Vegas, more specifically TTW because it combines Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Then I could shoot people with guns and it would be completely socially acceptable. ?
(BTW, I prefer the weathered 10mm)

Radiata Stories

but only the blessed timeline where both humans and non-humans co-exist ?
What good is life without struggle?
What interest to find in society without conflict?

The MMBN world would be nice to live in, aside from the various world-ending threats every few months or so.

Genuinely every Megaman world is a completely messed up dystopian nightmare in it's own right. Battle network is the tamest, but let's not forget it still managed to have a "radioactive server town" and those environmental control disasters

As much as I'd like to say a specific megaman world... I gotta say Little big planet. I could live my days as an imortal god of arts and crafts.

(Excluding my real answer of less than family friendly places)

probably none of them. every game that i play has terrifying worlds to live on. PNF-404, any nether world in disgaea; you can have your consciousness ripped out of you in the dot hack games, too many overpowered people in dragon ball, monsters everywhere in pokemon, digimon, yugioh, dragon warrior, final fantasy, xenosaga, fire emblem, monkeys with hot pants and machine guns in ape escape, floating islands above an endless sea of clouds in skies of arcadia, too many sharp edged robots in mega man, too many criminals in Gotham, too many scients crying out "can you help, superman!" in metropolis, man-spider is too much of a threat according to the polite, calm and mild-mannered J. Jonah Jameson, too many invasions in the lylat system, and there's many more to list.

I go for Moonsault immediately so I can learn Bird of Prey; my favorite technique. ?
It's been a while since I've played LoM, but my favorite weapon class was the fist. I love punching suckas. Also Hammer, I'm pretty sure I remember a technique that knocks the enemy out of the screen, even bosses.

Also, one more setting that I think would be cool to live in: Tail Concerto/Solatorobo. Don't judge me.

Fuckin' awesome. I really need to play this again, but I've been waiting to get someone else to play through the series with.

At some point I was gonna play a lot of these old multiplayer RPGs but decided not to because the experience is so much better with another person to share them.

Legend of Mana is hard to 2P, though.. ?

Guess I better start learning ASM hacking so I can fix the 2P mode.

Yeah, it's a bit too jank to be a smooth multiplayer experience. Though being able to play as the recruitable characters is cool.

I'm that type of player that always takes the side-character for a friend to have the spotlight, I'd end up playing through most of the missions as the story character or support, and during solo missions when we load my own character save, I'd jump on getting Moonsault and Bird of Prey right away to remain useful.

I do this in a lot of games, especially when the other person is less skilled than myself.

Not the old Sonic games though; they can be Tails. I'm probably not gonna die at all, while they can die as much as they want. ?

I usually like playing support type characters, too. Not that the chance really presents itself much since I quit MMOs.

I know that ace combat and ridge racer are in the same universe, but it would have to be ridge racer for me, probably because it is a mostly normal world (if we leave out the rest of strangereal) but has some real great racing, perhaps i might get a cool ride at one of the racing teams to go race for myself!

And for the record, when do we get ridge racer 8?
I'd kill for a Soldat Raggio IRL... No, the Yamasa Raggio NSX, modified by P.M.U. doesn't count (although its very cool on its own).

Also, bamco managed to revive KLONOA of all series (with a remaster, but still) and there's still no new Ridge Racer since 2016 with that draw & drift mobile game. They did feature some content in Drift Spirits, and they put some OSTs on Spotify, so they DEFINETLY acknowledge the series. (I mean, even Shuto Battle has a new game, and like RR, their latest content/acknowledgements were inside DRSP. If Genki, with their reeeeeaaaaaally small team can do It, then Bamco absolutely can do It as well ::bigboss
