Since TV show adaptations of videogames have gotten better over the years I wanted to ask you:
What videogame do you wanna see as a TV show?
What videogame do you wanna see as a TV show?
If you think that American version sucked hope you didn’t see their take on Darkstalkers.I'd like a Classic Mega Man anime that doesn't suck ass.
I agree with you.Honestly not a single one. If they gonna turn a game in to a show it better be an anime and made by a good anime studio with the original writers of the game.
Western media should not make tv or movie adaptation of games they suck at it. I mean sure sonic movie are good but remember their first design of sonic. Also a good sonic movie does not make up for a sea of shit they made.
Yeah it be epic fore sure. And yeah west has become better but still. I mean how big hits where the both Hitman movies, Assassin creed movie, Warcraft "I kind of liked it but still" Gran Turismo: Based on a True Story, Rampage, Monster hunter.I agree with you.
While western adaptations of videogames are waaaay better than they were 10-30 years ago,
There are still some bad adaptations here and there (*cough* Borderlands movie *cough*).
And speaking of sonic, could you imagine an anime adaptation of sonic the hedgehog made by Studio Trigger?! That'd be awesome!
Mega Man Zero or Mega Man ZX
Ring of power showed that Amazon should stay the hell away from making movies or TV show´s what so ever.Sorry to be a downer, but I'd say no more adaptations. The Amazon adaptation of Like a Dragon solidified it for me, since even to this day you'll more likely to find people in film and TV that think video games are just silly garbage.
They'll toss out everything that made the games unique and either shove in a their own storyline they arrogantly think is superior to the source (such as Like a Dragon) or make the stupidest story possible since they think people that like the source are morons (like Super Mario Brothers 1993). There's no care put into them unless you got the parent company breathing down their necks, like with the more recent Super Mario movie.
Yeah both DnD movies are good the new one is rely good and Chirs pine was a solid pick.I think a Baldur's Gate show that focused on the goings-on in the city itself could be pretty cool, and not the typical story the games have.
You could make it like Rome, but with whimsical magic coupled with the cool political intrigue.
The DnD movie a few years ago was really fun, imo.
But DnD can be anything. It can be goofy or serious, or both.DnD worked solely because it was a parodical one.
Sadly a serious one couldn't be made.
