What Sonic and Tails' models should look like

These models are how Sonic and Tails should look in 3D (with the other characters having the same style). These 3D models are from the Smash Bros Melee Akaneia mod. They are heavily based on the 2D artwork by Yuji Uekawa. Unlike the soulless models SEGA has been using for the past 20 years, these models have so much character and style! These models would be perfect for use in modern media if given a higher polygon count.

Well they look like find. I think just a bit more polygons count would make it better. Watch out they don't lose their main shape.

Finding the right amount of triangles is a bit of an art in and of itself, I guess. Visual language is complicated, at times.

Hey you should change origin to center of shape for later actions. This isn't good when its on foots.

Yes. I tried make a model more graphic by a polygons,subdivde and it turns out to a ball!

They look pretty good and are pretty faithful to the original designs and as well as the level of detail and the good use of the number of polygons of the models of both characters from the 3D Sonic era.
