What shows or movies or other media do you wish got a tie-in game or a video game adaptation, and how would you imagine their games?

Bit of a vague one but an interesting question nonetheless. I'll start us off with Ergo Proxy. I think that there is an interesting multi genre opportunity. As the proxy you would have a brawler/ beat-em-up type of game while as the detective you could have a fusion of fps and detective/mystery type gameplay.

1) MacGyver: Perhaps lots of generic point and click games inspired by it, but none of them had the MacGyver's soul, man lol.

2) A decent Doctor Who game: While there are some, they are not decent TBH. Some open world and freedom to go to certain timelines, and playing as the 10th Doctor would be cool. Something like an immersive sim game would be very fitting.

3) X-Files: Imagine you can go to many places on Earth and investigate interesting cases. I don't want it to be a linear A to B game, it can have a side quest system so you can find your own adventures too.

4) The Librarians: Very fitting for an adventure game.

5) Comrade Detective: If they could preserve the sense of humor and make it fun in an open world system with a decent random encounters system it would be fun.

6) Uncharted: What I mean is this movie should have a video game adaptation as a remake for the series.

7) Noragami: Would be a very fitting game for tons of funny side quests.

8) Dexter: Open world sandbox fun of serial murdering when? lol

9) Blood Drive: Tons of potential for a fun action game that has a huge open world map.

10) Psycho-Pass: It does have visual novels but it would be great if it had a decent open world game with random encounters system.

11) Magic Kaito: Dude, I can't believe it does not have any video game whatsoever.

12) Killjoys: I don't think any video game company would care to spend a budget just to produce a video game that's faithful to the tv series lol.

13) Little Witch Academia: Very fitting cursed number for the cursed main character who ruins everything she touches lol. It does have video games but they could be better. More sandbox open world map. Real time destruction and a system to even destroy whole cities would be fun lol. Not to mention we need very big open world map that contains the whole planet or else lol. Also a bonus secret that allow players to accidentally destroy the world would be comedic atom bomb lololol.

A Gurren Lagann game in the vain of Megaton Musashi though I'd be happy if they just add TTGL as DLC in there as well.
Biobooster Armor Guyver Action game that does the source justice with nice gameplay that utilizes the various armor types and arsenals plus add in the playable villains and Zoalords.
A Superman or Iron Man games as good as the Arkham games.

Probly many more but they escape me atm.

Tie ins are always a mixed bag. Video game adaptations on the other hand are interesting cause it causes SpongeBob BfBB, Black Rock Shooter, Stitch: Experiment 626, and other strange ideas to actually exist and/or be canon. My votes would probably be movies that never really got a chance or movies I think should’ve gotten MORE

-more Lilo & Stitch games in general, because they’re the PERFECT vessel for a monster collection game franchise. With the popularity of Disney, I’d even argue it’d probably rival Pokemon. The idea being to capture and find 628 other existing experiments a home. There’s so much potential with this because it was a big part in the world building and was consistent to the message, but clearly Disney would rather shit out a sanitized mess of a live action films that took every character out back and shot them. Movie didn’t even acknowledge the others. They probably won’t either because they would NOT work in live action. Reuben would look nightmarish.

-Spy Kids would unironically make for a really fun FPS game, all of them

-Regular Show only got one game, and it got middling scores. No I do not count the mobile games. But they would make a good basis. A beat em up game with unlockable fighting moves from the show and weapons would be heat.

-Infinity Train was fucked from the start but would’ve been a neat 3D platformer or ARPG.

-RWBY never having an RPG adaptation is a missed opportunity point blank PERIOD

-bit of a strange one but hear me out. Mystery novels in general. We only really have Sherlock Holmes games but Agatha Christie, Harry Bosch, Father Brown, Masterpiece Mystery etc etc would be a nice addition for the Mystery VN genre that really only has Ace Attorney as of late

It's kind of interesting how Trigun never got a game but also kind of did at the same time.
There was a PS2 title announced at a SEGA Game jam but it never released. The interesting part however is that the creator of Trigun worked on a different action game called Gungrave which people speculate was originally being worked on as a Trigun game. (Just a speculation but interesting coincidence.)

Into The Spider-verse was such a big hit that I'm surprised there wasn't a game made for it in-between the release of it and Across. (Though maybe Spider-Man: Miles Morales counts(?)) I'm thinking your typical Pre-Insomniac Spidey game fare. Swinging around the city to get to waypoints to the proper story mode levels, Levels and side-missions spit up between the six Spiders (Think Shattered Dimensions times two), a level-up system to get upgrades and new moves, big final boss showdown against Kingpin where you're constantly swapping between the spiders deal damage to him when openings arise. That sort of thing.

Personally, it baffles me that, in almost a centennial, there has never been a Popeye beat' em up game, the likes of Konami's classic arcade ones.
Seriously, punching people, monsters and whatnot is what he does best! It's such a perfect fit, but nope, the closest we've ever got, as far as I remember, is some crappy Amiga or DOS game where Popeye fights aliens, and it was just an awful game.

Now that he's become public domain, I wonder if someone would get down to do him proper justice with a good brawler. Imagine like "Cuphead meets Final Fight/Streets of Rage", with Popeye travelling through stages based off his more famous shorts, beating the crap outta whoever gets in his way, lol.

The way from I like to imagine it, a video game based on Fraiser would be a mixture between a visual novel and an open world rpg. It would kind of be like the Godfather for ps2 and the sims 2 and icarly for the DS. Basically being lifestyle or simulation type of game. Idk why Fraiser was the first thing that came to mind lol

Especially if they gave the game the tone of season 1, the bionic man would kill and hurt people. Since character was with OSI, (Office of Scientific Intelligence) Tenchu spy type game, with superhuman strength,speed and agility. Try to be stealthy, shit goes bad, time to break shit up.
