What is your way to play PC games ?

So what is your way to play/Control Pc games do you use the good WASD or the golden classic arrow keys or do you use a controller entirely when you play PC games ?

It depends on the game, some games don't give you a choice. I'll generally go controller if I can, though.

I myself go Always controller when the game recognized my cheap controller otherwise I go WASD when possible

It depends on the game. For example, in FPS games I use WASD, and in 3D platformers I use a controller.

I don't play PC games often, but it depends on the genre. Playing console style action games with anything other than a controller is insane. If it's an RTS game or point and click adventure game, then I use mouse and keyboard.

For third person/first person shooters, I think mouse/keyboard is superior but I still use a controller as it's more comfortable/intuitive for me.

Yeah, unless it's Unreal, Quake or Counter Strike I don't see K&B having any sort of advantage.

Controller only! If controller is not an option, I usually don't bother. It helps that I don't play a lot of games that need the extra precision

Really depends on the game such as if it's Terraria or any RTS/SRPG in general then I'll use my keyboard (WASD) for it but if it's like playing a shooter or any fighting game then I'll use controller. I like both overall though.

With mouse: WASD

No mouse: A variation of WASD, basically the left hand typing position (left index is on F), right hand on numpad (right index is on 4)

My setup lets me access more letter keys with my left index, A and Left Shift with my left pinkie, the numpad with my right (+ and ENTER with my right pinkie, 0 with my right thumb) and ARROW KEYS with my right thumb

I have a rose gold PS4 controller that I prefer over anything. The Sony controllers have always fit in my hands super well, and the battery life is pretty damn good.

Otherwise, I'll use WASD if the game doesn't have controller support.

It's pretty rare, but it does happen.
Deadly Premonition 2 is the only one I know of.

Aw, crap. I completely forgot about RTS and point-and-click adventure games. Though I’ve played some lately on the Steam Deck, and it wasn’t bad at all. Not the ideal way, but not a bad one nonetheless.
