I hated the controller though

Although we must admit that the N64 controller was strange, but not in a good way due to the design issue and that the Control Stick is in the middle of the controller, but hey, it was just a matter of getting used to it.

On the bright side, there are Nintendo 64 3rd-party controllers that have a more conventional design such as Retro Fighters per example.
