It's hard not to pick the PS2 for me because of the insanely huge library, and inclusion of support for pretty much every PS1 game.
That said, I have a lot of love for the Wii for similar reasons. Huge library, easy to hack, supports a majority of GC titles (if you kept your OG Wii like I did ) and that makes it a bit more of an all-rounder.
I likey the Dreamcast, lots of different arcade styled games with fun accessories to use like the Maracas and fishing controllers, also not forgetting the weird, beautiful side of the games like: Blue Stinger, Illbleed, Seven Mansions & The Ring. absolutely adore them all.
Honestly my DS and PS2, they just have all the games I want that makes me happy to go back to. I thought it was the GBA, because I spent so much time on it, but I just love the design more so than the games over all. I recently bought the AYN Thor just to play DS games on properly and I spent a lot of time just playing like SaGa 2 in it.
The only retro consoles I have are Sega Genesis and a fake Atari 2600 that's games are built-in so you just need to restart the console to play a different game each time and both still works while my friends' Xbox 360 and PS3 and whatnot died a long time ago lol.
Well the only consoles I have now are the Steam Deck and PlayStation 2, so I guess by default its the PlayStation 2. Even regardless of that, the PS2 has such an insane catalogue of games that it might as well be my #1 answer anyway.
