What is your most FAVORITE retro console out of some of yall's collections?

My 5$ NES I saved from going to the landfill that somehow still works.
My Indigo Picoboot modded GameCube (I did all the soldering on this one myself)
I got as payment from working at a retro game shop.
My GCE Vectrex

It's a tossup between my A/V Famicom and my 1988 Rev 0 MegaDrive. My briefcase PC Engine / CDRomrom with Arcade Pro card is up there too.
If I had grown up with a SNES instead of a Genesis then I would probably say SNES, but since I didn't it's the NES platform that's really my favorite.

It’s my Saturn. I’ve made this long term thread cataloging every pick up I get for it, that’s how much I love that thing.

It’s this system that is a perfect amalgamation of everything I love in games (fifth Gen nonsense, great sprites, amazing exclusives that few people talk about, etc.) and it’s able to do all that without sacrificing its identity. And that identity is This feeling like being in a dream. I love it. I really do.

of what I own well the PS2 hands down.

Fvaorite retro hardware I wish to own. PC-engine, PC98, Sharp x68000. I mean my all time favorite RPG exist on all 3 systems.

Huh, I didn't know that the 3DS and Wii are now considered "retro".

Anyway, my personal favorite console is Super NES, since a lot of games have stood the test of time for me (second would be GameCube).

I would've also said the original PlayStation, but I currently don't have one anymore.

I like having a slightly modified C64 so that I can load .tap files, though it's a fiddly bitch at the best of times.

I like my Wii for it's ability to play all of the GC library including my remaining physical games. Still missing Billy Hatcher though ::sadkirby

The GameCube is still my favourite, it has a great vibe to it, must be that it's one of the latest with that Y2K feeling or something.

Philip's CDI said no one EVER!!!

My GBAs, easily. Don't get me wrong, I love my PSP, my DS and my Vita (Vita can be considered retro, right?), but I freaking LOVE playing on my GBAs xD

My collection has long since been lost, but I loved my SNES, N64 and PS2.

dreamcast for me, i never even knew it existed as a kid so getting one as an adult felt like plugging in alien technology. plus i love sega and it has some of my favorite sonic games!

PS2 and Sega Saturn, the huge games library of PS2 keeping me busy but it's sometime lack of 2D games, so the 2D beast Sega Saturn doing a very good job to fulfill the gab. Both are my always on game consoles.
