What is your First Video Game Based on a Movie?/Cuál es tu Primer Videojuego Basado de una Película?

It was definitely Spider-Man(2002) for the OG Xbox, AND, if im not mistaken, I think this was the first game i ever beat without any help

Among all the movie-based games I played, they were the E.T. (2600) and Ghostbusters (FC/NES), but they were games not worth playing, especially because they were so far from the fidelity of the movie and also because playably they were monotonous but at least I played the Star Wars Arcade and it's fine for a Star Wars game although I haven't played the Indiana Jones from Atari but it doesn't look bad but you need 2 Atari 2600 controllers to play but it's not as comfortable as it seems unless I have a friend.
Unfortunately I have to agree, especially about E.T.: you could say that with that game they almost killed even the popularity of the movie...

Glad to see all the shout-outs for ET on the Atari! Makes me feel not so old, after all 😅
@NotReallyHere - You're not alone: I'm 51... :LOL:

One of these two. It has been much time, can't remember tbh:

I've played the Toy Story in both the SNES and Genesis versions but it's quite a challenge to try to pass the game but is not bad and the Batman Forever SNES game seemed like a bad game because it had a poorly adapted gameplay that looks more like a fighting game than a beat 'em up and the mechanics were not good especially the use of the hook, but the good thing is that it was the first Batman game that could be played by at least 2 Players.

I think I've seen all 3 movies but I haven't played the game but it looks good for a game that represents the first 3 Die Hard movies.
It's honestly pretty fun and the games are different kinds of games as well

Toy Story was alright tbh, I remember how satisfying it was to finally master the driving controls in those segments. And, yes, Batman Forever is a notorious piece of garbage. Always reached 3 rooms and got stucked. Didn't knew about the hook until the AVGN review.

Both Harry Potter games for the Gameboy Color. Gotta thank them for hooking me into RPG games.

I played little to nothing on the Philosopher's Stone, but good lord if I put more hours on Chamber of the Secrets. Way more than the game actual deserved lmao. They were good tho.

Still surprised how much i tortured myself to beat this as a child.

You figured out the controls all on your own at the times? It's all so stupidly cryptic. Definitely the worst Batman game I've ever played, but I know there's still others potentially worse.

Yep. It took a long time to figure it out though.

5 year old me thought this games was the shit, was the first movie tie in game I ever played, even though I couldn't get past the second stage. Music was pretty good though, not sure how the game is considered in general, critics back then were hardly able to critique a decent cheese toastie, let alone a full blown video game.

Robocop vs terminator does not count as that is a comic book tie in.

I played it but in the SFC/SNES and MD/GEN version but I couldn't get past the first mission because I didn't know what to do other than shoot or arrest criminals in the area.

I have played this version of SFC/SNES and I only got to the 2nd stage but in this case in the boss battle, but at least the game is better than the movie although I prefer the SIMS version (MD/GEN) more than the Natsume version (SFC/SNES).

I haven't played the Atari Indiana Jones but it's known for requiring 2 controls to play the game and it's not as comfortable as it seems unless you have a friend and the Atari E.T. I played it once and it's known for being a confusing, monotonous and boring game so the Atari E.T. is not a good game for the same reason.
