I've played it several times and it's a great Crash Bandicoot Racing game because it's a semi-open world where you have to win races in 1st Place obviously to get Cups that serve as access to the next races and also to challenge the bosses of the game that are challenging to unfair (some) but with handling skill and replayability after several attempts it is possible to defeat them, especially the next ones.

Super Hang-On via my Genesis 6-PAK cart that I got with my system. I was not particularly enamored with it and still am not because of the delay in turning the bike.

I understand you friend that the Super Hang-On from Mega Drive/Genesis port, although it resembled the Arcade graphically despite having fewer colors and lower frame rate, was not better than in the Arcade because playably it was somewhat inferior to the Arcade version of 1987 but the good side is that in the MD/GEN version had the Original Mode although it can be difficult and challenging at the same time although the game has an upgrade system for your bike although you have to win races to have money and buy upgrades for your bike and it has a system of long password for the time.

And for some reason the FC/NES version of Road Fighter has 4 Courses instead of 6 of the Arcade although it was more due to the limitations of the game's memory & storage (24KB) obviously.
