For one of the first adventure games of the time it was quite curious.

The first Wizards & Warriors is decent as well as its sequels which are decent too.

But the Zelda II is no better than the previous game due to its different perspective and also that it was harder than the previous game, although there is an tog's Easy Mode patch that increases the damage inflicted by enemies, reduces the damage inflicted by Link (Player), Reduces the use of magic and you start with double lives and for me with that patch it feels like a better and somewhat fair version of Zelda II at least for me.

Zelda 2 being hard is the reason why I beat it on everything available to me including multiple computers, the Switch, Original NES and NES classic. I still go back to it to this day. I haven't tried the easy mode patch nor would I, though respect to those that need it. I never thought of the difference of perspective as being an issue back in the day. It was probably more of an incentive to me back then as my favorite games at the time were the Castlevania games. In Zelda 1 the Darknut enemies are an annoyance no matter the color. When I am finished clearing a room of them to finally be able to push a block, I am left feeling thankful it's finally over. Whereas after fighting Iron Knuckles, Red Daira or even some of the bosses it gives me a feeling of exhilaration similar to some of the fights in Dark Souls or Street fighter. The first game doesn't really do that for me. Quite a bit of lore comes from this game, as well as having a magic meter and towns to visit. Zelda 2 is a hard game, and quite unfair at times but you can say that for a lot of NES games of the era. I have heard this was mostly due to game rentals though idk.

Among all the Batman games I've played, I haven't played that one but it looks like it's a great Batman game.

Honestly, I haven't played this Indiana Jones game for the Atari 2600 but it looks good for a game based on a movie and I think it's Action-Adventure, so it does count in itself.

Honestly, can't remember I got to see them within days of each other. The one I stuck with and was able to get gifted was Ninja Gaiden. And from that point forward was when gaming became a serious hobby for me, over collecting comics and other stuff.

I've played this GTA game once and it's pretty good for the first GTA game on the PSP.

Legend of Zelda on the nes was the first. I still remember being amazed when I first saw the gold cartridge. I also played Zelda 2 and Faxanadu all around the same time though. I used to switch between Zelda 1 and 2. Whenever I got stuck in one of them I'd switch to the other one and play it until I got stuck then I'd switch back to the other one and was usually able to get past wherever I was stuck. Faxanadu's still one of my favourite nes games. I really like the dark atmosphere and Norse fantasy setting. I remember the misty area really creeped me out as a kid.

Honestly the Zelda 1 is pretty good, the Zelda 2 isn't as good as the 1 and the Faxanadu looks good and is better than the Zelda II but both games are challenging to complete.

Super Mario 64 is a great game and the Tomb Raider of '96 is good game for the time.
