I thought Animal Crossing had some kind of marriage system, my bad.

I don't think that a game featuring animals would be the best idea to feature marriage even if they can talk and have human features.

you can do that in the rune factory series. the animal like character look very close to being human, they usually just have the tails and ears of an animal species. they do carry some animalistic traits too, like better hearing and smell, and can sometimes accidently injure someone if they get startled.
