English: Well, apart from the title of the thread written above, you can also put PEGI Rating as 3+, 7+, 12+ and 16 or 18 If you live in Europe.

Because the First E-Rated Video Game (Everyone) that I played is this:
Porque el Primer Videojuego con Clasificación E (Todos) que yo jugué es este:

Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (2003, GC)
1000059345.jpg

Because the E10+ (Everyone 10+) is this:
Porque el de E10+ (Todos 10+) es este:

Need for Speed: Carbon (2006, GC)
1000059344.jpg

Also the T (Teen) is this:
También la T (Adolescentes) es este:

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (2006, GC)
1000059346.jpg

And Finally the M (Mature) is this:
Y por Último la M (Maduro) es este:

TimeSplitters: Future Perfect (2005, GC)
Sorry if the Quality of the Game Cover Art is not the Best.

50% of my brain is filled with how to do every fatality of every fighter in this game lol. Still to this day I still have the game and play it on the same Sega Genesis but only thing changed is my CRT TV lol.

For the most time of my life I had no idea what those small letters mean since Rating systems weren't a thing here and parents didn't care much either.

My first videogame was Super Mario World that came packaged with my SNES but I actually played Campeonato Brasileiro '96 first because my dad rented it for me in the hopes that I would care more about football (I was 5 years old).

It worked.

What surprises me the most is the one in Demolition Man because the original movie was an action movie with R rating but for some reason the video game is rated K+A at the time.

All I remember is thanks to my mom also enjoying the game she approved of buying grand theft auto 3 happily when asked if it was okay.

A lot of my first games predate the ESRB, but I can assume were each one might be:

E rated:

T-Rated:

M Rated:

Ha Ha Ha! Campeonato Brasileiro.

well since computer games weren't rated at the time, i have to go with console games. First rated though? Probably Super Mario 64.

I understand the K+A logic. For example you would never see people "actually die" in the game so there was no visible body damage too. You would shoot them or throw a grenade at them and they would just stop existing lol. However the movie actually has violence. Perhaps the adult logic here is movie makes things too serious while a game doesn't especially because of its graphics. I think I remember this logic on why Mortal Kombat is "menace to society" because it uses real picture of people so it makes violence "OMG" lol.

For me age rating stuff doesn't make sense so IDK what parents even thought about complaining about Mortal Kombat. Kids don't think like adults, so they have no adult way to think what is negative or not. For example seeing dead people didn't affect me when I was a kid because I didn't have the brain to comprehend the reality of the situation, that's why despite playing so much violent games I was not affected despite people losing limbs and blood. I accepted them as facts of life. But at this time and age my brain make me think about negative meanings about these and it's a rather unnecessary awareness. So Mortal Kombat was "cool" back then, but now it's just "unnecessary violence". It bothers me yet I still find it cool and funny. It's weird lol because I'm more like "ouch, damn I imagine how sucks it feels like to be kicked by your own leg huh, buddy?" when when I was young I was like "man, you had so much ketchup in ya but it still not enough!!!! make it rain on me like the club in the Blade movie" lol.

I Apologize for posting this thread on General Discussion instead of General Gaming Discussion I feel like I didn't know how to differentiate between both forums and also that I can't move it to General Discussion (which is a varied forum that is not for video games) to General Gaming Discussion (which is a forum that is for video games). I apologize for that mistake.

E: Super Mario WORLD.
T: Tekken 3 or Street Fighter Alpha 3.
M: Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance.

I don't remember what E10+ game I first played. I don't think that rating existed until maybe Shadow the Hedgehog dropped.

E10+ came out back in 2005 and originally the Shadow the Hedgehog game (2005) was going to be a T-rated game but later changed from E10+.

Ok that explains it. That was like the first game I ever saw be given the E10+ rating ever.

I also want to note that I was not allowed to play rated M games as a kid and I would only play MK Alliance when nobody was home. Did that game scare me at times? It did when I went into the krypt or saw a fatality.

Although at least my parents let me play TimeSplitters: Future Perfect and that is rated M and in my country it is known as Pistolita And I played it when I was 7 years old.
