What is the worst port of a game?

Switch Port of Sonic Colors. How can Sega hire a terrible developer/programmer to remaster it with one of the worst loading times?

Earthworm Jim 2 on GBA. Screen crunch and awful bit crushed sounds

Power Rangers Light-speed Rescue on N64. It's just plain awful. And what's weird is that the Gameboy Color port and PS1 port have better gameplay than the N64 version.

I find it ironic the NES version of Ghosts and Goblinsare deemed as classics, since the original Arcade got butchered, visual glitches, if you shot while courched you get stuck for a while (In a game where fast reflexes are necessary) "Music" that makes cats fighting 3 A.M sound like symphonia, SFX that drills your ears, ugly graphics and cheap shot not included in the Arcade, the GBC has infamously Screen Crunch yet i love it as much as the Arcade

SFII on SNES feels pretty terrible to play, I'm sure there are worse bootleg ports of that game, though.
There are worse official ports of that game:

I think a high percentage of people with an affinity for GnG on NES simply played it first, maybe never encountering the arcade version until later, if at all. Then if they did, the NES version is still the one they're familiar with and nostalgia colors it? I remember playing it at a friend's house when it was new and thinking the theme was so cool, then encountering the arcade version a little while later at a hardware store (why did the hardware store have arcade games???) and recognizing this was clearly better... then playing the C64 version the most because that's the one I had, heh.

PSP Persona 1 (yeah let's up the encounter rate, totally won't annoy people)
Yeah, the PSP version made the game more annoying because the games feels like its running at 200 FPS (which is an improvement) but the music gets old pretty fast. I prefer the PS1 version and the original OST, the atmosphere is so much better.

I think that has more to do with the PSX emulation on the PSP than the actual game release. Still, they could have optimized their emulator better for paying customers.
i actually went n looked it up, and it looks like the original ps1 version was still insanely slow. so i think it might actually just be the game's fault.

Obligatory answer of the SNES port of Doom as well. The port itself is a miracle that it exists at all, but it had to be heavily, deeply compromised to work.

I'll raise you Duke Nukem 3D on the Sega Genesis

It was exclusive to Brazil from Tec Toy. It contains only the second episode with extremely simplified levels and in general is heavily stripped down to fit. The voice clips are in, but Duke sounds like he's 12 whiskeys in with how slowed they are.
It's still quite impressive for me, despite the limitations of the Genesis. I'm even more surprised that it was even released, really cool from Tec Toy

Oh for sure, Tec Toy did some really wild ports for the Brazilian market, Mortal Kombat 3 on the Sega Master System is another:

It's honestly impressive they managed to do these at all, even if they're a bit rough to actually play.

They did a lot for Sega systems ngl, especially the Master System and Genesis

On what system? It ran fine on base Xbox One and I don't remember anyone saying that the PS4 was any worse. I still remember Payday 2 dipping to almost single digits during some heists on PS3 lol
Oddly enough, the Steam version of Blands 3 is just laggy. But if we're talking PD2, it runs just fine.

Not a big fan of the "classic" series on the GBA and not a big fan of the DKC ports for the same system.

Crazy Taxi for the GBA was a terrible game. I ended up returning it to the store because it was so bad. ?

Hmmm... Any KOF series port for the PS1, because they got loooong load times every round finishes.... Regular 3 vs 3 mode becomes awful.... Almost the same for the Neo Geo CD ports, except for the animations which are reduced in PS1.

Scarface: The World is Yours in PS2 is a great game with a logical What if scenario that actually feels like a sequel, ¿On WII? a butchered mess where what could be assigned to a button press (The "Taunt" mechanic, a essential mechanic) is assigned to a gesture on the Wiimote SIMILAR TO RELOADING, causing you to taunt when you need to reload or to reload when you want to taunt, if that was the only problem aiming is hell, it feels like the screens corners were somehow covered on flypaper, ensuing you need to center the crosshair to be able to change the aiming direction, a mess and a half

a more recent example and if it aint been mentioned its surely gotta be Prepare to Die edition right

I see your Duke Nukem 3D for Sega Genesis.

And i raise you, Duke Nukem 3D for the GBA

It's honestly not too bad, as far as GBA FPS go at least. It's an original level set too, so it's got that going for it.
