Objetively it must go to Wii Music, i got that time waster with my Wii, never swappingit for Metal Slug Anthology

  • Elf Bowling 1 & 2 (2005)
  • Deal or No Deal (DS/Wii)

I love these games but I do hate the boss fights a lot lol
They feel nothing like the SNES games, which had much better controls and smoother platforming. Plus, no motion control gimmicks. Music was better too. David Wise at his best. Also, why did Retro Studios completely remove the Kremlings and K. Rool for a bunch of generic enemies?

I much prefer Kaze and the Wild Masks, though even that game is nothing like the old SNES DKC games.

Good thing you can still play the SNES games then ::winkfelix
Though I do kind of agree. I don't like those games very much either, but for reasons unrelated to them not being the snes games.

My votes go to these (I tried omitting games not specifically developed by Nintendo but it got harder the more I thought about it)
  • Twilight Princess
  • Metroid Fusion
  • Mario 64 DS
  • Mario Party 10
  • Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
  • Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival
  • Devil's Third
  • Xenoblade Chronicles 2

I was excited for the new DKC games, but when I played them it was like I was playing something else entirely. I wish the SNES games could get like a remaster or something. I'd love an excuse to play them again but instead Nintendo just keeps re-releasing the Retro Studios games.

Yeah, aside from the floaty weird physics which I had a real hard time getting a grip on, I just didn't catch on to the vibe at all. It feels kind of soulless to me. Most of the memorable bits people talk about seem to be just setpieces or spectacle, and never the actual game itself.
I enjoy certain parts, but I remember being pretty disappointed when I got my hands on Tropical Freeze.
Not that I expected them to play like the DKC games from twenty years prior, but I get what you mean. Maybe they just should have left out the "Country" part of the titles.

Guess the English just know how to make DK games the best (haven't played Bananza yet).

Only Sky Skipper is bad enough that there was only one surviving board in existence, and it only got restored thanks to the community jumping through the hoops to make it happen.

DKC2 is like my favorite game ever. But I love Tropical Freeze. I like the physics and launching across gaps with crazy momentum and the kind of flows you can hit.

But I fully agree that artistically it's not near as cool lol. Still visually dope but the new enemies are kinda generic and the game lacks that general weirdness.

Really?, I vastly preferred the Retro Studios titles. I think they surpass the originals, with the exception being the admittedly generic-looking art style and enemy roster. Since they were made for newer hardware, the games are a lot more animated compared to the SNES titles and levels usually shift and change layout. Tropical Freeze remains one of the best 2D platformers ever made IMO. Rare also had an obsession with needless collectibles and gimmicks in their games, which the Retro titles largely abandon. I'd much rather find Kong letters and puzzles pieces in the environment than go through dozens of tedious bonus games and hunt for DK and banana coins. DKC2 and DKC3 felt like direct precursors to the collectathons on the N64.

That's subjective really and will change mostly on a person-to-person basis.

Like Twilight Princess mentioned above, I do dislike the motion controls, but I thought the game was fun otherwise.
Yes, Superman 64 will always be the septic tank of the 64, but I think the Zelda CD-i games would fall into the worst Nintendo titles. I don't care if Nintendo swept them and Hotel Mario under the rug they are still, in fact, Nintendo's IPs, and they are bad games. So that's my pick:

Zelda's Adventure - CD-i
Link: The Faces of Evil- CD-i
Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon - CD-i
Hotel Mario- CD-i

Probably "Stack-Up".

Even if one were to go through the effort of playing it properly (and that means getting ROB the Robot), it still wouldn't make for a good or fun game. It's flawed by design and I can tell that the designers had to make-up with whatever was possible, effectively getting handcuffed by the selling point (which was to play it along your damn robot buddy).
