What is the worst film you ever saw?

I assume we're talking about objectively bad movies, not 'good-bad' movies as that's a whole other discussion. Someone here said it already, the worst movies are boring movies for whatever the reason is. I have no ranking of these, there's so many I'm just going to list some I've seen recently or that I can recall off the top of my head.

Total Recall Remake: terrible movie, it's so edgeless and sanded down that there's no point to even watch it anymore. There's no message, or ambiguity, the action scenes are boring and atrociously edited. Every performance is utterly lifeless, Colin Farrell was really phoning it in clearly for the paycheque.

M.Night Shyamalan Avatar: don't think I need to elaborate much on this one, kind of one the most famous box office bombs of all time. Even outside of it being an entirely botched adaptation and separating it from the source material, it's a fucking awful movie.

Pixels: holy goddamn this movie is awful on every level. I crashed out watching it with friends the first time, I actually left the room. I could not believe how bad this was. It is the single most unfunny comedy I've ever seen, and not a single joke landed.

Black Christmas (2019): once again, even separating it from the original its remaking, objectively an abysmal experience. Nothing happens for almost the entire movie, then they drop some absurd nonsense for the big climax that also has nothing going on in it. There's no message, tension, scares, characters, particularly good performances, and it's just dripping with that nonsense 'wannabe enlightened horror' energy that is clearly trying to copy the average A24 film. This is a Blumhouse movie, so it's like 90% confirmed that it was an entirely unrelated script that they bought, slapped the Black Christmas name on with barely any rewrites then just threw out the door. It's also unfortunate as the original is so fucking good.

I think for me it would be the Live action Avatar movie and Alien Covenant. Avatar probably doesn't need another explanation as to why it sucks, but Alien Covenant is genuinely one of the only films where I've nearly walked out of the cinema because it was that bad. It's bad enough that it was another unnecessary addition to the "Alien franchise" (Which should of only ever been the first 2 films in my mind), but the film just has nothing going for it. None of the characters are interesting or give you any reason to care about them, I don't care about the story or anything that really happens in that film. It just felt like a desperate attempt to appeal to people who hated Prometheus by trying really hard to channel some sense of nostalgia in people by having a lot of visual references to Alien and Aliens, but instead it just makes me want to watch those films since they're so much better lol.
Ridley Scott really should've gone out on a high note and retired after Kingdom of Heaven because lord knows he's never made a good film since.

I took it as meaning movies you get next to no enjoyment from. Like, I wouldn't say Space Jam is a great movie but I enjoy it so much that it became a beloved favourite. A movie I get next to no enjoyment from is something more like the movies you've mentioned.

People were walking out of the cinema

I have never had a movie piss me off so bad before that I had to stop watching it.

It's been so long since I watched it that I forgot why I was pissed off in the first place, so maybe it'd be disingenuous to include. Regardless, this movie still pisses me off so badly and I wish it didn't exist. I haven't seen the original either but I get the feeling the people who loved the original hate this movie. I might check out the original movie and maybe revisit this awful movie if I ever have time to watch some movies.

The Worst film well I don't about the worst per say but I watched some really bad once
Well it may not count as it is a Series but probably Kitou.
Little Bee (its very cheaply made but I still watched it a couple of times)
Dolph Lundgren Schwerter des Königs zwei Welten (Its a slop movie)
Battle for Skyark
I would have one more but I don't remember the name and I can't find the movie right now.

The ones that comes to mind are :
- Mean Girls 2. It's not intelligent like the first one, the plot is just some generic disney channel thing, and even the characters are bad. In my opinion it doesnt deserve to have Mean Girls as it's title.
-Lalaland. I watched it with friends because a projection was held in school. We were bored the whole movie, because what is this plot? Even the musics weren't that good, exept the one at the beggining. Also, Ryan Gosling annoys me very much. ::dodgy I don't understand why people call it a masterpiece honestly, only the settings were good. I prefer Singin' In The Rain ::agree
-Truth or Dare. I watched it at a friend's house, and it would have been unwatchable alone, because the only thing that made it entertaining was us making fun of the characters ::rolleyes It's like a different kind of Final Destination, but very bad, and I don't even know what to say. Also, why does the two girls have both a crush on an ugly guy who also have no personality. ::nuts

Uh Humh.... Not just shitty, perhaps a case of being forced to watch fucking movie because of date, (Yeah, ungrateful bitch) title misleading, franchise rug pull, wasting my time.

Knight Rider 2010 - Worst movie ever. Lying fucking shit, everyone wanted a course correction after Knight Rider 2000. Fuck you to all those involved.

King Of Fighters - My favorite game series, they're gonna fuck it up. I knew better. I knew it was going to be bad. So I watched it at work, so at least I could be paid to watch it. When it was over, I wanted to beat the shit out of someone. I was itching for a fight, I'd walk around think to myself please someone act up. I guess they could see it in my face. Bouncer at the time. I WANTED TO TAKE OUT MY ANGER ON SOMEONE THAT EVENING.

Titanic (BITCH I SAID I DIDN'T WANT TO SEE IT) Oh yeah, I felt for the villian, I'd have shot at your whore ass too.

Street Fighter. It was bad you should feel bad. I'll never under stand younger people "it wasn't that bad." Shut up, you weren't there 1995 out of the theater with the rest of us. How the fuck can the writer of Die Hard come up with this; get coked out Van Damme screwing Kylie Minogue mix all that in a bowl. I salute Raul Juila who want out of his way for this role, sickly finishing the filming though.

Mortal Kombat Annihilation - Never seen the whole movie, just from what I've seen, hard pass.

Mortal Kombat (2020) Shitty product, how can this POS even gotten a sequel? Kole? Fuck you. No Cage? Fuck you again. Lame guy playing Jaxx. "At least there were fatalities..." That still doesn't save shitty reimagining of the story.

Spider-Man 3 - Fuck you, after the great part 2, we get this. Lame ass Venom played by Eric Foreman, Topher Grace mother fucker. Harry, you fuck.

Terminator 3, Terminator Salvation, Terminator Genesis, Terminator Dark Fate. All Shit. Should have never existed. Didn't even want to see them. Friend took me to 3, hated it instantly. Another friend conned me into watching Salvation, NO. Genesis? GRRR..... Dark Fate, friend said, look it's free. And that's time I'll never get back, I knew better. ALL TRASH.

Predators, The Predator- Just fucking stop before you Terminator it into the fucking ground. Topher Grace again? Go play in traffic bitch.

Alien3 - Fuck you should have been what they wanted to do originally, which basically what Alien Earth is touching upon right now.

Last Jedi. I've never been into Star Wars much. Seen all the movies, but this movie is singly the worst one out of the whole bunch. All three of Disney movies aren't good, but this one really bad pacing, look we're getting shot in the ass for most of movie, let's make Skywalker look shit, etc. The shows after made me hate Star Wars enough that now when I go to take shit, I say "I'm gonna go make Star Wars"

Superman III - FUCK YOU. Richard Pryor ruins the movie. Could have had Brainiac, but no, that and dollar store Lex Luthor. Fuck you movie.

Superman IV - FUCK.... Reeve didn't want to do this one.... God damn....

Superman Returns - FUCK off movie. "Look, 3 and 4 didn't happen.." Yeah and basically you made Superman into a deadbeat dad, stalking Lois Lane with her new husband; who's Cyclops' actor.

Dark Knight Rises - Its So GOOOD.... And Bane is awesome! Shut up. Bane sounds dumb when he speaks. Mother fucker sounds like Slingblade. Plot of movie was stupid.

Batman vs Superman - It Sucked. Script should went more revisions before they filmed this. And since when in the fuck are Metropolis and Gotham City near one another? I hope the fucktard that got Zombieland guy to be Lex Luthor gets hit with car.

Godzilla 1998 - As a basic bitch retelling of the Beast from 20,000 fathoms, uh... Hard NO. As Godzilla? HARDER NO. I left the theater pissed, premiere day mind you.

Hulk (2003) - Hulk grows bigger when he gets mad. No he doesn't he never did. Till this stupid ass movie gave people this misconception. Hulk Dogs? His Pappy is the absorbing man? Fuck off movie. This movie was the second time I left the theater for real angry. It also encouraged me to go to the high seas for films from that point forward.

Two stand out to me

Bad Love (1992), basically two terrible people fall in love and do terrible things

The Young Tiger (1973), I remember buying this as a bargain dvd at my local walgreens and being excited for a Jackie Chan movie. Him being the villain (with a giant fucking mole no less) is the least of this flick's problems

The worst movie I've ever seen is probably "The Greasy Strangler" absolutely horrid film that made me
audibly angry post-watch (according to my friends lol). Imagine all the worst aspects of the "quirky, lolsorandom, non-sincere" tropes associated with millenials and amplify it by 100. Then to add insult to injury it had one most horrid original soundtracks I've ever heard.

It wasn't even so bad it was good, it was just realllyyy bad, and I'm pretty open to bad, shlocky movies.

Probably recency bias since I literally just got done watching it, but the newest War of the Worlds has to be up there as one of the worst things I've ever seen as of right now. The entire movie's a Zoom call, with some of the worst acting I've seen in a recent movie.

I saw Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers (2022) last night. By no means the worst movie I've ever seen, but I'm still debating if it was more good bad or just a bit bad. It was fun at parts, but the story wasn't very engaging.
It did have ugly Sonic though. I want more ugly Sonic in movies please. At least give me a cut of the 2020 Sonic movie with this design ::eggmanlaugh

Fortunately for Alien 3 - The Legacy Cut makes the movie worth watching at 2 hours and 23 minutes.

Honestly, I don't think Alien 3 is a great film either by any means, but I'd honestly much rather watch it than anything that came out of the franchise after it. As flawed as it is, it at least has it's own thing going on and tells it's own story.

Agree. I had watched Alien 4 on cinema and thought that was the beginning of the end.
Ignored anything after it. 3 was the last one to capture the horror sci-fi atmosphere.

Btw since it was mentioned here, I also had ignored Waterworld, catching only a short glimpse on TV in the 90s and now I see they released there an extended 3 hour version as well, titled Ulysses Cut. In retrospect I am glad I missed it back then so I get to see the version as close to the original edit.

Never seen Waterworld, but I’ve always been curious due to its infamy.
