What is the worst film you ever saw?

8: Sonic 3 (yeah i said it): Such garbage! I hated almost every second of this. What a massive insult to the games. Also that post-credits scene really fucking pissed me off. After seeing this film, I refused to buy any more of Sega’s games and considered canceling my Paramount+ subscription. Basically, I blacklisted Sega and Paramount.
Bro... it's not that fucking serious. The adult thing to do is just think the movie sucked and move on with your life. You don't have to disown two entire companies just because you thought a single movie was bad. I hope you actually grow and change as a person.

It has to be "Box Office in 3D", an italian... sketch compilation movie made by Ezio Greggio. It's a succession of clips parodying famous movies in the most braindead fashion possible, and finally boasting about the superiority of Italian cinema with a fourth-wall braek... after about two hours of the most inane and painful excuses for comedy you'll ever see. For the love of god, don't waste a minute of your life on it.

The Woody Woodpecker movie from 2017 is probably the worst film I've ever seen I was forced to watch it because my little brother wanted to watch it for some reason

Strange, because people disowned and blacklisted Nintendo just because of internal business practices. I know moistcritical did.

It's a competitive field... But I think The Sandlot 2.

It's such a bullshit movie! The characters are all knockoff versions of the original cast, I sympathize way more with the "villain" than with any of the main characters, the baseball is nonsensical to the point of having the climax match lasting one at-bat (!!!) and, to top it all off, the thing that gets the main dude to win the girl over is punching the "villain" for basically just tagging out the girl as she's heading to home plate, which is not only not as harsh as they make you think it is (they use slowdown and exaggerated reactions to try to sell it for fuck's sake!), but it was also VERY legal in baseball at the time! Anyone who's seen a runner run-over a catcher or vice versa would know how BS that is. And the movie rubs it in by taking place exactly when this was a thing! GAH!

I never thought I'd live to see the day when someone would lump Waterworld and Paris, Texas into a "worst movies I've seen" list. Incredible.
That said, I mean no disrespect to you or your tastes. It just baffled me, is all.
I like the idea of Waterworld but the movie is very poorly developed lol, it would take too long to even write about it.

As for Paris, Texas: Pretty much a movie about ordinary stuff that the director had no idea what to do so last half of the movie is empty. Again idea is good but bad execution.

Tusk, worst horror movie ive ever seen, its a guilty pleasure though lol

Agreed. This one was a stinker. Weird that they had to cover their faces while wearing the armor. The excuse was it was because of Covid, but if that's the case, why not have everyone film it separated and just edit them together in the final cut?

Disowning and blacklisting a company for creating a movie you personally didn't like and disowning and blacking a company for malicious business practices aren't even in the same ballpark. What are you even on for those two things to even be remotely close in your mind?

Both seemed to be egged on by right wing griftertube.

Really? Batman: the Killing Joke lt's Really that bad? l thought this film was not that bad.
I really don't like it, anyway. Not sure about general consensus. It has like 30 minutes of extra stuff that didn't happen in the comic, and the art style of the animation REALLY doesn't do the comic book art justice. The animation is way too clean, and doesn't feel as gritty or as unnerving as the original comic book does.

It's okay man, don't sweat it. As I sad before, nothing against you or your tastes. It's all love.

Damn, I can see that movie really struck a nerve! If a movie can bring out that kind of reaction in someone, it means I have to watch it.

Out of everything I actually sat down and finished, that fuckass Wolf Man movie from earlier this year. There was nothing. Nothing scary. Nothing funny. Just a complete void of humanity. Also a complete violation of the Wolf Man. Not only did he not look like one, he just looked like a meth head, BUT THE MOTHERFUCKER WAS OUT IN THE DAYLIGHT FOR HALF OF THE MOVIE. I despise this movie with all my heart.

I plan to watch War of the Worlds, but that should at least have a couple funny things in it, so it can't be worse.

Without hesitation, the worst film I've ever seen is Ultraviolet.

It started off somewhat promising. An opening credit sequence done up in a comic book style. A cheesy action sequence that starts with a motorbike riding up the side of a skyscraper rendered with bad CGI.

After that first action sequence, the rest of the film turns into an absolutely forgettable borefest where nothing worthwhile happens, followed up with nothing continuing to happen, with maybe a few more scenes of nothing happening, before the film eventually begins to entertain the idea of MAYBE allowing something to happen.

By the time something DOES happen, the audience are already so fed up that not even the sight of a sword fight is enough to redeem the movie.

This isn't just any sword fight, however. It's a sword fight that takes place in the dark with both swords on fire. By default, that should automatically be one of the greatest action sequences ever committed to film.

Ultraviolet somehow managed to make even THAT look boring. An absolute crime to the world of cinema.

I already mentioned the comic book style credits at the start. That gave me hope that what I watching was merely a poor adaptation of a potentially decent comic book that I'd be more likely to enjoy.
Unfortunately, that was a false hope. The film IS the source material.

The closest thing there will ever be to a redeeming quality is the review my friend recorded years ago, where he tears into it with an impassioned rage.
