i don't know what to conisder retro right now so i'm going say the PS3 Wii Era is not retro to me IMO... so back on topic. my rarest game i use to own was nacmo museum vol 5. it had the game that was only in english. called the legend of Valkyrie. but it's japanese name is Valkriey No Densetsu. also the nacmo museum vol 5 had other arcade games. the game is so pricey now i'm just going emulate it sadly. i wish people can port Legend of Valkyrie in the the japanese game to english. here's game play video of it in english.

I had Panzer Dragoon Saga, back when I had my original Saturn.

Traded it in to FuncoLand - along with the Saturn and everything else - when I bought my Dreamcast.

Let's just say I didn't get nearly enough for it in that transaction. I try not to think about it too much 😭

what sucks was i had to move and get money so i had to trade in nacmo museum to gamestop for a 1.50 in 2004 big mistake also i bought it from the local rental movie place.

Not sure how rare it is, but I have a physical copy of Trine for PC. Otherwise, none.

I had a copy of Marvel Ultimate Alliance: Gold Edition with the DLC characters I foolishly traded in way back, even knowing then that it was a pretty rare find. I also had the original Xbox port of MvC2 which I also foolishly traded in that's just as rare as Ultimate Alliance. I was a fool, basically.

10 Neo Geo cartridge games
not sure about real value today, at least some of them should be

The original Big Box copy of Jurassic Park: Trespasser, for context it sold disastrously poorly (Only an estimated 50,000 units world wide, and that's the optimistic estimate) and I have the original release.

There was a time in my life where this was my all time favourite game, so much potential and despite it being shipped unfinished the first three levels are fun.
If you read Half-Life 2 Raising the Bar Trespasser is credited for the success of the Source Engine... As Valve learned from JP:T Mistakes. Valve would literally playtest early source engine builds against JP:T.

At the moment, nothing in particular.

I used to own a number of rare and semi-rare SNES carts, like Earthbound, Metal Warriors, Mega Man X3, and such, but have long since sold them.

I own the Sega Genesis version of Pirates of Dark Water with case and manual. I am not entirely sure if it's rare or not.
